Hi Pak Patrick. By the look of the landscaping and scenery, you must have put quite an effort in its development. If I may ask, how long has it taken you do so ? It is said using chicken manure may not be the best option, what are your experiences and observations ? Do you let your dogs loose at night ? also, what breed are the brown coloured dogs ? Thanks.

One tree is roughly 100 KGs to 500KGs per year, depends on the size and maturity of the tree.

Manure if full of Nitrogen. What you need to be adding to it is bone meal so it will produce more.

Chicken Manure is only US$0.40 per 50KG sack. Is it the PERFECT fertilizer? not necessarily. But is it COST EFFECTIVE (despite all of its possible shortcomings)? YES. Then so be it -- just use Chicken Manure, despite its potential weaknesses (whatever that may be).

@@juntakfoods I don't think you understood my comment. When you give excessive amounts of Nitrogen to your plants they turn into vines. All they do is grow leaves and lower the fruit production. Too much Nitrogen is bad. You have to use something with a more balanced NPK than manure. The ingredient from NPK that makes fruit produce is the P, for Phosphorus, which is responsible for root growth and flower and fruit development. That's why I suggested you put bone meal in there.

@@MasterKenfucius In the SHORT TERM (read: 6 ~ 8 months) -- you are correct. In the LONG TERM -- it won't matter (8 months to 3 years). When you spread CHICKEN MANURE -- the manure can last 3 years, but the dissipation rate is SLOW (spread over 3 years). The upside: we do NOT have to worry about FERTILIZATION for the next 3 years (meaning: no worry about labor, work, headaches, etc).

@@juntakfoods Sorry, but what you are doing is wrong. When you put something as full of Nitrogen into the soil it is going to supercharge your plants immediately with leaf grow, which is NOT what you want. There is no "long term" with manure. What you need is slow release fertilizer, and something OTHER than Nitrogen. Manure is always a bad choice for fruit trees and should never be used like that. If you think manure will last you 3 years then you really don't know how that works!

@@fadilbasheer4675 It is subjective. Depends on how fertile your soil is. 100KGs of Chicken Manure per tree already contains a lot of nutrients.

I have an avocado farm in Florida and trust me when I tell you rice husk is meaningless and useless, it has no bearing on the trees health or the fruit production. It has no real nutrients that the trees need, trust me I’ve tied using them for years and it’s a waste of time and money.

rice husks are meant as MULCH, nothing more: keeps down weeds, covers the ground to retain moisture, improves aeration in soil, has higher contents of silica, helps increase organic carbon content in the soil, and it is SUPER CHEAP (only US$0.15 per 40KG bag, anyway).. I also forgot to mention in the video that we spread TRICHODERMA HARZIANUM fungus to the soil, so the rice husks help the fungus grow (Trichoderma Harzianum helps kill and control Phytophthora Cinnamomi)
