Great question, Patrica. As I understand it in a general sense (without having your whole chart before me): it may take longer for your good fortune to manifest. Furthermore, if your Jupiter is strong (cardinal house, or in its rulership or exaltation, for example), the retrograde can act to make it weaker, which may be to your advantage. For example, let's say one has Jupiter in Sagittarius in the 1st place (house), one may be prone to excess. If that Jupiter was retrograde, it would weaken the action of Jupiter, and make it a little less prone to excess. Be well!!
