My natal Jupiter is conjunct Mars in Taurus, Krittika Nakshatra. I've Libra Ascendant (Vishakha Nakshatra) and Gemini Moon (Punarvasu Nakshatra). So, Jupiter is very important for me. Jupiter in Taurus is in the 8th house from lagna and it's in the 12th house from Moon. Also Jupiter is the ruler of the Nakshatra of Lagna, Moon and Sun (natal Sun in Purva Bhadrapada - Pisces). Now, I am in a Mercury MD/Mercury AD. Natal Mercury in Aquarius (Jupiter will be 4 from Dasa Lord).

Hmm can you please cover on the Jupiter and Ketu mutual aspect? A lot of astrologers are saying Jupiter is finally free from Saturn’s aspect and is not conjunct by any long transit malefic planets but Ketu also has a special aspect towards Taurus. So is it really safe to say Jupiter is fully independent and free if Ketu is also aspecting transit Jupiter? I noticed some details can easily be missed when doing analysis. I am a Scorpio ascendant going through Sun Mahadasha, when Jupiter was transit over my natal sun in Aries. My managers quickly called me and told me they wanted to promote me because I was doing a good job but after a couple of months the plans had to be put on hold as the position could not be available for the time. I didn’t understand why the transit caused a false alarm and it probably had to to do with Saturn’s third aspect on my 6th house and sun and transiting Jupiter as well as it’s 7th aspect on my 10th which caused some delays in my career progress. Not to mention rahu was also transiting 6th house but based on general descriptions Rahu transit in my 6th was actually good and it made my work environment smooth sailing as I was able to innovate and find ways to make my job easier.

Thank you, Komilla! Question--depending on the software, I get different rising sign resutls. Some software says I'm aries rising, others say taurus rising (1 degree). The rest of my chart remains the same. But with the difference in rising, it changes house placements. I'm struggling to figure out the best chart to follow, because I can relate to both. Would be grateful for any guidance you may have here!

You are born in what is called as lagna sandihi. Accurate time of birth is needed . Otherwise Birth time rectification is needed.

@@remo9909 I d have an accurate birth time. And I get a different rising sign depending on the jyotish software. I've had jyotish readings before... but I'm at a point where I need to figure out which chart I will be leaning on, and I'm struggling to decide and move forward.

Jupiter in Taurus is not bad, however Jupiter transiting over natal moon is difficult. Conjunction of Jupiter and Moon is stressful but aspect of Jupiter on Moon is beneficial.
