I am a Cancer ascendant, and my Jupiter is placed in the 3rd house in Virgo. My Jupiter mahadasha started in 2018, and so far it's a bit controversial, but it's probably because I am also going through both Sade Sati and Saturn return. I can't say that I've been facing a lot of difficulties, at least so far, but neither have I experienced a lot of blessings. I quit my job in 2022 due to some inner dissatisfaction (although it was prestigious, well-paid and I had good relationships with my colleagues and bosses) and decided to completely change my career and become a freelancer, and since then I've been struggling to establish myself as a professional. I don't regret my decision, but my path is not easy and fun. The way Jupiter mahadasha is influencing me is probably through sending me back to studies. I started practicing yoga in the end of 2018, and till today I continue my practice, study philosophy of yoga, anatomy of the human body and so on. And of course I do a lot of studying for my new profession. I'm not married and don't have kids yet, and I live in a rented apartment, but Jupiter mahadasha isn't over, so we'll see what comes next☺Thank you for the new insightful video and sharing your personal experience!🙏

In Kaliyuga we all tend to consider 'auspiciousness' or 'good' as material success. Jupiter being the Guru will only bestow material benefits if they do not adversely impact spiritual growth. The prarabdha configuration is such that Jupiter will teach in the right way and the way of Dharma, hence any bhava placement such as 3, 6, 8 and 12 can be learning processes with the sole intention of dharmic and spiritual progress and this is much greater than simply reaping temporary material benefits.

How is it now when Jupiter has transited to your 11th house? Any gains or fulfillment of desires?

I went through this Mahadasha from 2005-2021 (age 21-37). At the beginning of this Mahadasha I began my spiritual journey with mantra meditation/bhakti yoga. Looking back, I realize that makes perfect sense, considering what Jupiter signifies. That said, I am a Taurus ascendant, so Jupiter can be hard for us 😅 Overall it was a challenging Mahadasha, but I learned a lot.

Thank-you for this. I’m in Jupiter’s Mahadasha, a Cancer Asc. , with Jupiter in the 6th house. It’s been a very difficult Mahadasha so far, with major health issues, first for my father and then myself. Almost done with the first third, and things seem to be improving somewhat now. Let’s see what happens with the Ketu Antardasha starting soon.

Thank you Mohana. The last part being bad will also depend upon the placement of Saturn and what it is to bring. All Saturn Mahadashas are not bad (prarabdha) - hence Jupiters placement will be configured accordingly. If the Saturn Mahadasha is to be good then the last part of Jupiter Mahadasha may not be bad and in fact it could be catapulting the individual forward.

Your points are so true, I feel I am terribly suffering in my Jupiter mahadasha though my ascendant is Sagittarius but may be because it is placed in 9th house with Rahu in leo.

If Jupiter is going towards Rahu, it can bring difficulties. It is also important to see how close they are degree-wise.

Just remember, it will not continue forever. And sometimes it can help to try to see the lessons that are being shown to you.. if you focus more on learning from the lessons, rather than focusing on how it is making you feel..this might help a little

Very true. I m a cancer ascendant with jupiter in 8th house. Just 6 months. I had a surgery. Even though jupiter own nakshatra Very painful. Still 15 year 6 months left. Moon in 10 house

Thanks for this great video! I am going through jupiter mahadasha since I think 2015, but also going through sadi sati since I think 2017 so not sure how much that affects my experience, alot I'm guessing. But I honestly feel like my jupiter mahadasha has been nothing but a reality check and has taught me that I am not as lucky as I always thought I was.. but I am capricorn ascendant and moon, so that probably doesn't help. Also my jupiter is retrograde and conjunct with retrograde saturn in the 9th house. My jupiter in my d9 is in pisces in the 2nd house but also sits with saturn and sun. Not sure if my placements explain my experience or if it's more sadi sati that has created the experience that I have expressed. Thanks again so much for the video and hope you have a great day

Hello Ma'am. My Jupiter Mahadasha has just started. I am Aquarius ascendant and my jupiter is placed in 6th house. It is exalted and in pushya nakshatra. 7th house is saturn and rahu. 2nd house is venus mercury and mars conjunction. Will it be good or bad. Specially in area of court case.
