I remember being a fail about my first crush, which was when I was in elementary. My crush then was a smart girl, as in she had the second highest grades in the class, and as for how I failed, I think she was disgusted by me because of how I was overly sensitive about and overly distant from everyone. Looking back at that, I find myself appreciating my favorite aunt's advice about lovers needing to be friends first, and that advice is something I remember really starting to take to heart in more recent years, more specifically after I broke up with my first girlfriend. So yeah, while romance stories starring guys getting together with the most popular girls of their respective settings still appeal to me, I'm glad that I'm being grounded by real life about those.

I've seen one of those, girl's love letter was read outloud by the receiver's friend , and I was like, dude wtf, that's personal... didn't help that their group kept dissing the writer too... that was elementary school so I hope they matured atleast
