Jurassic Fossil Hunt on Kilve Beach Almost Ends with a BANG

Kilve is a beach famous for its fossils. Everywhere you look the fossilized remains of creature from long ago can be found and occasionally it seems exploded bombs!
Oh and we had a fabulous sit down in a country garden cafe.

This place is so beautiful .. so gorgeous .. the rock and pebbles coastline .. the small streams leading towards the sea .. I dont think there is anything like this in msia .. but about the cliffs .. recently I saw a youtuber went to Trengganu and he went to a place along the coast of trengganu that also have cliffs but of course not as rocky in feature as here in Kilve .. I love Uk because it is so originally beautiful ... thanks for taking us around to beautiful places of England .. take care and stay safe always my friend .. ✌💕🐈💕

Good to hear from you, my Malaysian friend. Not far from there is a beach with a waterfall pouring down a high cliff. Perfect for washing down after a swim in the salty muddy sea.

Good to see you on my local patch. That chimney is the top of a distillation retort. Shale oil rock was discovered and led to a "black gold rush" 100 years ago. Unfortunately, it was a scam and investors lost a fortune. The oil was far too deep to be profitable at the time. But now they want a fracking licence, just a mile from Hinckley Point nuclear power station.

I've never been to Kilve either but definitely will now to go fossil hunting. That river crossing was a bit hairy, you could do with some wellies 🤣

I think the most famous beach cliff is in Miri. There is an archway on the beach. I've not been there but there is an advert on Jalan Tebrau as you drive towards Taman Molek from the city centre.

If you could still remember the beach that you brought me and Charlie in Medini where we had to walk across some bushes to reach, does that fit to be called a cliff over a seaside? And are those popping seaweeds called the sea grapes?

Lol, not even close my friend and that was only a tiny cliff, we have much higher ones as you will see in future vlogs. As for sea grapes, never heard that called that. We call them wrack (various types) kelp and weed. Some types are edible.

That seaweed is called Bladder Wrack. But Popping Grapes is a far better name.

Probably, they find them quite often. Seems you yanks used that beach to practice for the D-day landings. I hope in the future to take you to another beach the scene of a major disaster for the Americans that was also being used for the same reason. A place called Slapton Sands.

There wasnt trilobites in the Jurrasic era..they died out About 100million years before it..also the Charlston music is really annoying..
