I was too young, but just imagine the anticipation leading up to June 11th and then going to see this epic movie for the first time in theaters not knowing what to expect, seeing dinosaurs like you’ve never seen them before. Everybody in the theatre in awe and speechless.

Part of me always wondered why we only ever got Jurassic Park games based off the movies, not one where you are in THE park, not a game based off a movie, but a game based off an IN UNIVERSE place, with REAL dinosaurs and a REAL brand

Trespasser is kind of a spinoff from Lost World, and creator Seamus Blackley also created Jurassic World before Universal turned it into movies.

Well we have those Theme Park builder games for Jurassic Park and the most recent Jurassic World Evolution games. But you probably mean like an adventure game like Turok or Dino Crisis, right?

Okay. Most of the time, overwhelmingly so, I’m on team #goodoldays . And when it comes to the film itself, that’s 100% the case. However, I hate the final story so much. Call me a snowflake, but I was enraged at the whole controversy being that “dinosaurs are for kids always so this gives mixed messages” so close minded and I think we can all agree that adults like dinosaurs, too, especially none in particular who are autistic but still valid adults :( also, I commend the original toy line for being so non-violent in the grand scheme of things. Trevor C’s video on the original Kenner waves shows how complete a job they did making sure to focus all the weapons on either stunning the dinosaur or implanting a tracker and releasing them. They were ten times as thoughtful about it as modern toy campaigns for literally any franchise, targeted for children or not
