Jurassic Park 3 (2001) Reaction/Commentary

Hey All! So far this is my favorite movie in the series. And yes, I am biased, because one of my favorite dinosaurs is a Spinosaurus. And in this video, I finally found a reason to show some footage of my character in Ark: Survival Evolved, and some of my dinos, including my spinos.

The boat at the beginning stopped - so if they would stay connected to it they would dropped in the ocean (because they had no movement forward and a limited range to fly on cable) !

So the reason the velociraptor snaps Udeskys neck was because he wasn't actually dead yet. If you look he moves his arm, and was in fact only paralized below the point where the raptor stabbed him with its claw. It wasn't to be cruel or anything but to make sure he couldn't get away and because it was a last ditch effort to get the other humans to come down and save their friend. In a deleted scene which sadly no longer exists, Udesky actually fights them for a while with a branch, which is unfortunate because I think that would have been sick. Also the spinosaurus in JP3 is not really a *pure* spino, same with all the JP dinos. It was heavily eluded to in some of the other JP media that it's more of a hybrid with a spinosaurus being the base animal. That's why this one leaves the water a lot, fights the rex, and partly why it keeps chasing the humans.

Correction, there is no implication the spinosaurus was a hybrid. In a scrapped script, copper was supposed to find the spino nest and kill some of the babies. It’s presumed why the spino still chased them is for that reason.

@@itsuki2877 And we also *know* that it is. As of Jurassic World in fact. Henry Wu even says this to Simon Masrani regarding the Indominus Rex and the other dinosaurs InGen had ordered; "You are acting like we are engaged in some kind of mad science. But we are doing what we have done from the beginning. Nothing in Jurassic World is natural. We have always filled gaps in the genome with the DNA of other animals. And, if their genetic code was pure, many of them would look quite different. But you didn't ask for reality. You asked for more teeth." And in Jurassic Park the tour program states that all the dinosaurs have had gene sequence gaps filled with frog DNA. So really, there's no situation where I'm wrong about this.

Woo hoo, I been waiting for yall to drop another JP movie! Really enjoyed the reaction! Also that Ark game you showed footage of is nothing like I pictured it to be when you talked about it in the other reactions. That game looks really cool!

It is cool, I've played it for years. The sequel is about to drop soon like he mentioned, so the official servers will stop, but people can still host their own. Worth picking up on a Steam sale or you can get it used pretty cheap on consoles.

@@mikewatchesstuff All the official ones are down, I just checked it out, but un-official, player-owned and operated ones can still work just fine. Services like Nitrado can be used to run private ones. I think they allow cross-play between PC, PS5 and Xbox Series players. Survival Ascended though I think PC can only play with other PC players. I ran one for several years on one of my server machines, but our community kinda died down.
