Jurassic Park: The Game (Telltale) - Episode 4, Part 5: GET OFF MY ISLAND (Finale)

Hi guys! I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS GAME! When I originally started my channel waaaay back in April this was the FIRST game that I wanted to cover. I had this sucker pre-ordered as soon as it was possible to do so and I thought I was set. Unfortunately, Telltale delayed it until yesterday evening but made up for it by giving their pre-order customers a massive discount on the collector's edition. After having some time to play the game I really think it's pretty amazing. It does a great job of catching the original feeling of the movies - at least so far!

You should definitely check it out. Even though this isn't usually my type of game I felt right at home once I got used to it. I hope you guys enjoy this series! Most of it is already recorded so stay tuned for more episodes once I can edit them up!

Kinda silly how bad Yoder's villain decay was at the end there. Experienced merc, knows that he needs to stay still to avoid the Rex's attention, gets infected with stupid and runs right in front of the thing. He shoulda just kept going and dived right in to the water =P.

AlexDeGhost It was subtly obvious that he cared more about the embryos than the lives of the survivors. Oscar is the opposite of Billy, he would heavily object to this if he were alive.

Also yoder was NOT the character to go evil Oscar literally said without u they will die! It's why Oscar sacrificed himself in the 1st place! And yoder knew that! It's called snapping under pressure. He's gone nuts. He feels like they're laughing at him and the friends he's lost. The doctor certainly didn't help matters there. Oscar was the one holding his sanity together. I mean, for God sake, his friend was being used as a living nest!

Billy's betrayal really was completely forced feeling. He was level headed enough in the beginning and his mental decline into an evil character seems like something that would not actually happen. He was definitely one of my favorites even if he was written to turn into a complete ass.

You know what else doesn't make sense, even within the movie? If the Lysine contingency was always present in order to control the dino population for emergencies, the embryos would be essentially useless if they were created with the contingency inside them. All Ingen would need to do is activate it and their competition's dino livestock would be toast. (I'm guessing Nedrey didn't know about the contingency, or trying to steal them would be pretty pointless.) Maybe there was more clarification in the book, IDK.

The lysine contingency was that they would stop feeding them lysine. The dinosaurs would then die. I think nedry knew about it too.
