Jurassic Park: The Lost World (Epic Dark Battle Remix)

I actually wanted to make this one emotional and uplifting, but something didn't go as planned...
I recently got ComposerCloud and wanted to try it out here. Most of the Percussion here is from StormDrum 2; this is the first library specifically designed for "epic" percussion that I've used, and I think it sounds amazing! I really had a lot of fun writing this cover, especially the percussion! I really hope you like it!

Awesome track man! May I ask which specific libraries you used of stormdrum 2? The godzilla package?

Wow, that's a good question... I opened up the old project file to check, and it's quite unorganized, so I might've forgotten something, but this is what I found: The godzilla package for the really loud and low hits (I didn't use it for the part at 01:02, since that might've sounded too loud...) Daiko Dynasty for adding a low end to most of the faster drums Trailer Toms (I think they're from the pro extension) for adding more highs to the fast hits The Middleearth Ensemble for the loudest hits For the main Taikos (the "softer" drums playing all the way through), I actually used Metropolis Ark 1 by Orchestral Tools, since they give me a little bit more choice than the Stormdrum Taikos. And then, I used a little bit of Drum rolls and Cymbals from the Hollywood Orchestra Series. I think that might have been it for the drums. Every time I try to write something that involves a lot of percussion, I'm pretty lost, and I'm still figuring out how to make it sound just right. This - I think - is the closest I've ever gotten, but even here, I think a few parts sound off (I used way too much reverb, for example - it sounds horrible isolated) - so I'm not sure if what I did here is actually good, but I kind of like the way it came out.
