I think this is another thing missing from today's Oscars -- they actually go into a little bit of detail about each movie nominated, showing how they did it. Today they just skim over everything. They show a 2 second clip and move on to the stars and speeches. Then again, seeing as how nearly everything is done with computers nowadays, it's not as exciting as seeing them create models and do it all by hand like they used to.

But they decided it wasn't good enough, Phil was the guy who did the claymation but they decided to have him lead the animation team instead.
