I mean, there have been 7 Jurrassic park films in 32 years. Not exactly like they are pumping them out left, right and center. Meanwhile we have had how many super hero films in the last 20 years that mostly all just follow the same formula? Not saying this film will be amazing, it probably won't be, but I don't think we can complain about them doing too many of them.

Not really. We have oil spills that wreak havoc across the globe and nothing is done about it cuz oil is a trillion dollar industry. The military industrial complex has caused untold amounts of catastrophe and that’s another trillion dollar industry. Nothing is done about it. Big pharma. Guns. I think dinosaurs would be big, big business. My only issue with the lore is, how on earth have the flying and swimming dinosaurs not left the confines on the islands. They would have immediately upon escape, become global threats.

Looks decent, though not sure I love the cast. Also the macguffin of needing DNA from the 3 "most dangerous" dinosaurs seems a bit silly. I will probably still watch and it looks more promising than the last tire fire of a film but IMO for Jurassic Park to really hit home you do need that feeling of hopeful curiosity underpinning the big bad dinos. Thats what made the first one magical.
