I think its safe to say most fans prefer the format of the original Beyond the Gates than this creator series. I was awesome hearing the behind the scene for each of the figures and hearing people from movie production discuss the designs. Here, the videos are short and no more informative than reading the listing for the product online.

True but the other format was mostly « talking for the sake of talking ». A lot of bull s*** about inaccurate toys who were blindly advertised as « must have » for collector. Here it’s now way more honest: it looks cool, it’s posable, it’s great to photograph, no need for more.

I have to say I really like the green on the back and frill, the color palette overall matches pretty well to the design in the world trilogy, which is nice to have after all the ones with that sculpt before now had green or blue or reds, always looked kind of off.

Its a cute figure but hoping for the JP3 Spino, and that Bull T.rex. I would love to see some of the classic Kenner figures and lines be released with a modern take on par with the Amber/Hammond collection. I loved the "real-feel" stuff as well. but i can only imagine seeing the Firebeak Quetz, OG massive Utahraptor and of course even stuff from Chaos Effect. An official Hammond Collection Ultimasaurus, that could right the wrong of the original figure being unrealized.
