It’s hard to talk about specifically because it’s so unique. Depends on the situation. Depends on the character. Depends on what button. They choose. Depends on what button you choose. It depends on the TIMING. Hit hp immediately? Cooked. Wait a few frames for their attack to whiff? You win the match. But the IDEA of paying mind to what your opponent is doing is important.

Brian F made a video explaining this in sfv and it helped me get SO much better. It's awesome that Kail is doing this for sf6 because it's gonna up a lot of people's game

All the setups I came up with are ones I had to lab to show. Be creative. Find what your opponent wants and deny them!

Something I've come to realize is that I don't play my characters to their fullest potential. There is so much to Juri that I haven't even bothered trying, let alone putting real time into actually learning.

It's always amazing to learn about something old that you seen but didn't click that it could be super powerful. Hk. You told me about that button a while ago and although i got use outta it. i didn't see the full application of that button and makes me think i need to lab more. I need a rival that i play often that could point out stuff that i miss. I'm not the kinda guy that enjoys a 5 hour lab session unlike other players.

Speaking of spacing st.HK. Did anyone manage to land lvl3 super after punish-counter st.HK? It requires spacing because you need to hit the opponent on the 2nd+ active frame, iirc. Would be nice to see that in a match at some point.

Doesn’t this just depend on what character you are facing? IMO there’s way too much to consider if you face a different character which will happen often online so wouldn’t it be better to just go all in on Learning a move that will always connect if you space it right like her lunging moves to catch a whiff?

Drive Rush into st hk is a thing ? I mean, it assumes your opponent won't do a medium move, or Drive Impact or Drive Parry or throw. Same with HP after Raise kick. Be prepared for Drive Impact and if you cancel it into QCF Mk, you'll die.
