thanks so much for this! I'm currently taking jurisprudence and it's honestly one of the hardest courses I've ever done as a law student, I barely understand anything 😅 I have a test on Monday and although this was taught to us a couple of days ago, I couldn't understand it at all. this has however broken it down in the simplest way and all the words the professor said in class make sense now haha. so thank you!

Thank you so much for your videos. They are becoming quite the tool for my studying. I do however wonder, when will you be uploading the rest of your material for Jurisprudence? I notice a couple of subjects from your initial outline are missing, i.e. positivism ... would be great to have a watch. Anyway, thanks again!

It is not about the middle class it is about the whole humanity. Imperialism and 2 billion humans living on less than two dollars a day and 5000 kids die per second due to malnutrition all came out of the womb of capitalism. This not to speak of the Environmental degradation caused by capitalism

marxism doesnt account for the middle class is utter nonsense, and i would be wondering what you think is meant by class? class is the relation of man to man which is primarily stratified into the propertied and the propertyless in a capitalist society, but there exists different strata of class at all levels.
@walruscoocoocachu264 жыл бұрын
And more than that, the middle layers are actually shrinking right now as they're crushed by the crisis of capitalism. EVEN MORE THAN THAT, the peasantry, small independent farmers were a HUGE middle layer in the time of Marx and were totally proletarianized. The upper layers of the working class are not "middle class," and more everyday are coming to realize that.

Marx believed that the class is a place in relations of production, so there are more than two classes now and marx says that in 18th Brumaire, but capitalism tends to create more inequalities between classes that produce value ( classes that receive wage from their labor) and class that has means of production and lives by accumulation of capital (class that lives from other peoples labor). So he viewed class not just as a construct but a real category that is defined by its purpose in production and purpose in preservation of the economic system.
