grime tune intros and outros are made to be mixed into DJ sets, jus like DnB, Uk garage blah blah, the way the mcs catch the beat is that they're beat-matched so you know the tempo either gonna be the same/similar etc

If you liked Mez, Kyeza, and Jdot on this, they have another grime show set with spyro that includes snowy too that is fire. From a similar time to this set. It’s a shame those guys don’t spit with Mez anymore because I used to love the “nottingham crew” stuff. Mez moved to London to further his grime career and the notts guys felt like he was leaving them

Mez gets a pass on using DDoubleE’s style and proof of this is Mez’s Birthday Set on Radar Radio

D double E co-signs Mez so it’s all good lol. He is obviously heavily influenced by Double, but he pays homage and references double in lyrics. Double turned up to Mez’ birthday set on Radar Radio, and they spat lyrics back 2 back which was really cool. Can tell Mez loved that shit cos double is such an inspiration to him. Double even signed Mez to his label for a single deal before. So for me as a huge Mez fan, that’s how I square off the style being so similar. Double is cool with it, so I am cool with it. Also, Mez definitely has taken it far enough that he has made his own style now. This set is an early one when he was like 18.

I got nothing more to say if the originator is sanctioning it. Makes sense. I’ll have to check more mez out to see the progression. Bless for these gems.

@@Jurnalist_ for a good representation of Mez’ progression, search Mez x Grandmixxer and click anything from the past couple years. That DJ and MC combo has their own unique flavour of grime. I will warn you though, it’s very easy to dislike lol, it’s an acquired taste

DJs more time mix in the next beat, other times DJs can just switch to next beat without warning but if it's on point, same BPM, MCs will catch it
