V 'Winter Ahead with PARK HYO SHIN' Official MV

Inspired by pygmalion with V’s twist. The people wearing white, are the statues that come to life, and V is in white, and then red as he sees himself as the sculpture, Pygmalion. The dark Tae comes and realisation occurs that V is also a statue come to life as the lyrics are talking about living in paradise. V created his paradise, but reality is not as idyllic as we think we made this. V made this MV in 20,22 so he knew the storyline and he put Easter eggs and hence in his songs since then. Like multiple V’s and a virtual world in ‘slow dancing’. In Ffri(end)s, he also gave two parallel universes with the inception moment at the end of the MV with the two V’s meeting, just like in winter ahead. Also V when he made the ‘Winter Bear’ MV, he was inspired by the movie ‘About Time’, where he wished he could go back in time. He’s actually making his own VU and he’s doing it in such a clever way by making a storyline in 2022 (winter ahead), waiting until 2024 to drop it and in the meantime seeding is MV’s with Easter eggs and hints. He gave us multiple V’s in ‘slow dancing’ with a virtual world. Followed this up with two parallel universes in ‘Fri(end)s where we get the inception moment at the end of V and Tae coming face to face and now we get the V and Tae’s, again in two ‘universes’ in ‘winter ahead. To me it’s so creative that the other MV’s were puzzling and thought provoking but are answered now with this MV. V really does inspire critical thinking with his thought provoking art.

the teary eyes and vulnerable expression... the subtle villain smirk... the aura... ACT KIM TAEHYUNG !! I'm speechless. I don't have words to describe this masterpiece that Taehyung has made.! He sculpted a woman, embodying his softness, kindness, and innocence. This creation led him to a realization: it wasn't about the woman but about his own self. Ultimately, he found peace in his reality.! I remember RM saying in one of their BE-hind stories: "Kim Taehyung the man who rejects what's normal" and this really shows how unique he is.. His voice is like slow waves washing down the seashore, it's so calm yet deep.. KING V.. perfect ❤

Hi Jurn! The mv is certainly based on the Pygmalion' story but with a darkest twist. Tae is kinda Galatea (the ivory statue who came to life) and took the place of Pygmalion. He sculpted other Galateas, but it's an illusion. He has to face it. The real Pygmalion is no longer. Even the one with dark stain in his face is not the real, cuz he has ink as his blood...So everything is just a story, imagination built on imagination... It's haunting. The song is a warm blanket that you share with a lover in front of a chimney with an hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls.

Winter Ahead holds the biggest debut for a jazz song in spotify history 🔥🔥SHE was HIM 😭 the sculpture was him!!! KIM TAEHYUNG'S MUSIC isn't just simply music, it's a whole fxcking novel! crying with tears in his eyes is art and he did it effortlessly!! The same mark on taehyung , woman & the sculpture showcasing how he conjured up everything ,The dark persona reminiscent of this fact And what stood out to me most was how perfectly Taehyung emoted the moment of realisation . Just brilliant !! the moment when realization hits taehyung. none of it was real. a fantasy inside a fantasy, dreamt up by a solitary artist who confronts himself at the end. and as he cries, he also smiles. because even if false, his dreams were still so very beautiful. and he was so happy. the version in front of him bleeds from a cracked head and we see glimpses of cracked sculpture heads in his workshop. this too is him then. both are him. none more real than the other. the cynic and the romantic. the darkness and the light...amazing!!

You got it! V in the jacket is a sculpture come to life. He created himself a lover and friends- you know who's a statue by who's wearing white . I think...this is personal theory, that sculpture Tae came to life and was either abandoned by the real version or killed the real version. He's been wandering alone in that whole big castle and sculpted himself a companion. Eventually he sculpted more and more people to fight the loneliness, but it becomes more desperate and unhinged as it goes because he's trying to pretend he's real and the illusion is falling apart. That or he was imagining them all the whole time and he's the only living statue. In the end he has to face that his entire life is only a dream that always had a timer on it. That's just a short version of my personal theory though 😂 you have to watch the whole stupid thing without blinking a dozen times and each time you pick up something else to support whatever conspiracy theories you come up with lol

Nope. All of this mv was filmed in November 2022, Tae said so in the behind the scenes that dropped today (we also knew it was around that time even before tho and his insta pictures). I think you mean the cinematic still version of Winter ahead where he's having dinner with park hyoshin was filmed close to him enlisting because of his shorter hair

Hi there from all the theories I have been searching this is the one I think is the best : black jacket tae sculpted Red jacket Tae (also think RJtae tried to Kill BJTae hence the head wound) when he found the sculpture of himaelf then dissciatef from. Then RJTae got lonely and made friends and get love interest and remember he himself is a living sculpture when BJTae showed up to bust his bubble (for lack or better words) love from Spain 🇪🇸

My theory is kinda crazy remember rainy days mv he was an artist like in this video and making sculptures to and in the last mv freinds he was hitting by a car so i assume he was dead in the whole mv and the black V in the end with blood come to remind him that this is all his imagination and dreams of the perfect live he wanted to have it's all related to layover album all the seven mvs represent a storyline of loneliness and finding your true self

And I knew you would like the sax, but so happy you recognized the cinematic masterpiece of the MV, too. Did you notice the black MJ jacket from Jungkooks Standing Next to You and the red MJ jacket that V wears? NOT a coincidence!!! I can't even imagine taehyung is dealing with this..i really really really hope taehyung was able to say goodbye.. 💔 My heart hurts so much when I remember Taehyung when he said: “I wish he cld tell me whenever he felt sick or unwell” to those who may not know, tae mentioned that tannie had an issue with his hind legs and also breathing difficulties,before adopting Tannie, Taehyung knew he had health issues. he spent half a year studying about dogs and seeking advice from dog trainers. he gave him the best life possible! Tae truly was the best dog dad! ,Taehyung chose Yeontan as the cover of his first album as a solo artist and Taehyung chose Yeontan as the cover of his Christmas song And also appearing with him on stage in his promotions and performances. Taehyung tried to share every moment with him so that it would remain a memory for him and us and Taehyung made sure that he would be remembered everywhere because he wanted Yeontan to be in our hearts forever. We all love her so much and will remember her For a long time. She is in our memories as Taehyung's heart and we will be forever grateful for the beautiful influence she had on his life. And most importantly Yeontan, thank you for all these years

E parece que o V criatura fica feliZ no final por seu criador vencer esse obstáculo de solidão e busca por perfeição...pois vemos um leve sorriso em seu rosto.
