Yeah, what burned me up about Corden's "apology" was that he tried to turn himself into a victim. Iirc, he never truly apologized, said it was a harmless joke and he friends with the guys. When they came on his show, he was like, "i got death threats 🥺🥺🥺." Which, yeah, it's wrong. But the vast majority of the backlash was calling him out for being an unfunny buffoon. Also, there was noticeably more static in this video. I really want this new mic set up to work for you, so make sure those people know there's an issue somewhere. Lastly, have a safe move and get some rest in there!

8:47 It;'s just that this was BTS's 3rd speech at the UN (this was in 2021 and they also did one in 2020 and 2018) so saying it is "unusual" kind of invalidates that. (just my opinion). Also thet tone in wich he said it is really annoying to me. And like you said, BTS and ARMY were the butt of the oke, which happens most of the time so we were already annoyed by that ut also kind of used to it. But we likes Corden mostly before he did this because he was always nice to BTS and they seemed to like him too. So we also felt kind of betrayed. And the 15 year old girls joke is even more annoying because we had it directed at us so much before this by other media and he said he was ARMY before so he should know that we aren't only 15 year old girls but very diverse. Also it has mysogynistic undertones to make fun of a band for having an audience of young females, as if that is a bad thing.

I also want to add that the misogynistic undertones extend past just bts fans. The joke relies on the assumption that 15 year old girls would never have an interest in international politics or diplomacy unless there were attractive boys to fawn over. It's insulting to bts to minimize their role at the UN assembly, it's insulting to their fans to reduce them all to a stereotype, and it's insulting to all young girls globally to minimize their interest in the work the UN does

I agree with you with corden, Like I didn't care about first part, even tho it was BTS 3 time doing it, but like you said it isn't something that musicans do, so yeah I would totally ignore it, but when he gone in second part, it was like "wtf this but is talking about" and "ohh this is some stupid "joke" that landed very purly" like literally he dig his hole with second part. The "unusual" part was whack, bc his ahh knew damn well that it was BTS' 3rd speech at the UN, so it was not that surprising anymore, but what really got us angry was that not only did he group the whole fandom into the "15 yo girls" category which he knows damn well is wrong just looking at armys in the audience of his whack show, but also implied that the "15 years old's" are only interested in switching place with some musty old dude just bc he was in the same room as the tannies, bc ofc dumbahh girls are not watching for the speech, nor can't be interested in politics, human rights nor bettering the life standards, our brains surely don''t have such capacities..
