This system was in place in Pakistan as well . Notable were selected as member of jury by government for hearing criminal cases.

Yes, the difference here is that they randomly select general public into jury based on non bias and whether the individual can decide based on evidence presented and governing laws. 12 jurors are selected and 3 backups for a trial. Thanks for watching!

I didn’t get selected as juror on a murder trial. Even then there are many trials and appeals before someone gets a death sentence. Human life is too precious to be taken by a court decision. Thanks for experiencing my day.

The court in San Diego looks very modern. The one in San Jose is a dump!

@@syedmuneeb-ul-haq6214 This building is new and modern located in Downtown San Diego. It was quite comfortable being there for half a day. But the previous court buildings were quite outdated. It’s nice to see the tax dollars being used to improve infrastructure. Thanks for watching!

Wonder if this will ever happen in Pakistan ...🤔🤔 The bigger question is, are we mature enough to handle such responsibilities!! I doubt it, though!!! Sad!!!

Great questions! American forefathers thought of all these questions when they were writing the constitution 300 years ago. It’s quite an interesting experience and I enjoyed serving as a juror on a trial ten years back. I hope other countries also adopt similar system.
