Never played an £8 Sonic but the £10 & £15ers would sometimes go into that mode were it was a board or 2 every quid & go decent amounts on features, some would still kill you. I think i made about £90 on a £15 once. Key to it being playing like you did exploiting the lower features & not forcing.

Well I wouldn't say impossible but the machine will pull your arms and legs off if you try to go all out for the JP repeater at the end of the trail on every board. Very occasionally it will fill the rings up or exceptionally rarely it will spin the 2 at start of feature & boost all the way to the end.
