the literal meaning is actually the detectives noticed there's something wrong and one of them is a spy then found the missing pieces and connected things and found the spy (one with scar) The love meaning is the feeling of the end of a relationship. when one starts to lie and keep things from the other. or like your find out your partner cheated on you

the scar meant that jaeyoon was the mole they were trying to find out the spy in their team and it turned out to be jeayoon ( the white hair guy )
