I saw a theory on TikTok that the guy in the video went on a date with all the members and poisoned the doughnut killing all of them except for one Mina(the girl in the beginning and end). And the white snowy place their in is in heaven. and the one member that went in the phone booth(4:59)tried to call Mina and warn her about the guy that killed all the girls but she accidentally called the guy and told everything and he went to kill her. And at 5:05 those burnt doughnuts represent all the poisoned members and the non-burnt one is the one member that lived. At 6:08 you can see the same white doughnut on the tray from the beginning and Jihyo(the girl to the left)took the doughnut an ate but it was poisoned by the guy so she was the first one to die but at 8:08 the heart shape on her stomach is supposedly where the doughnut is at. NOTE: I forgot some of the details so I might be missing something. I'll try to find the video on TikTok to see if missed anything but if i did i will edit in to add more detail. Also i hope this made sense:)

That's a very good theory. I like how TWICE MV's have some sort of complex storyline going on and only a few understand it. I remember in ICSM era a lot of people hated the MV bcoz a lot was going on and they said that it was all over the place. But just like you I read some fan theories about the MV and then the whole MV made perfect sense. Anyways thank you for sharing.

It is but I’m pretty sure tzuyu lived and she was calling the doughnut guy

Dahyun gives everyone the doughnut but when she sees jihyo died she realises (dahyun realises) where tzuyu tries to alert the girls but she accidentally calls the guy who poisoned the girls although the guy kills tzuyu leaving chaeryeong behind in the cafe where she sees the 8 burnt and 1 non-burnt doughnut means the 8 girls are already poisoned and 1 girl is Mina who realises everything at the last as she was tangled in the loop. But then jihyo goes to heaven after nayeon making snow Angel in the heaven and expecting the girls to come behind her as she gets to know everything after dieing. The girls fall in love with the same guy but get poisoned only leaving Mina she didn't know the guy nor the doughnut she just spent her time with the girls. Main person was dahyun who gave them the doughnut after realising the death of them dahyun feels guilty and goes to the shop to order the same white glazed doughnut, she eats it and dies cause of her guilty-ness.

This is my take on the mv I noticed they’re dating the same guy so they poisoned him through a donut, the evidence in the crime seen and it’s dahyun’s doughnut. But nonetheless the mv is super dark (murder) artistic! Twice jp comebacks never disappoints 💗😭

The guy murdered the 8 girls and Mina didn't know anything about this thing which was happening she was running in the loop where it was no begin or end. At the last dahyun dies and lefts the evidence through doughnut

Basically the donut is a clock, When you bite the donut, the time has already started before life flashes before your eyes, The red jelly goes in a loop and goes out from the other side, Then it was too late. It can be cruel when the person you like poisons you, 8 of the donuts in the oven are burnt, But 1 left perfectly fine, The last donut is the last one alive, all 8 members dead except 1.
