The message of her song is do not be pressed by traditional society's expectations for girls to be obedient and modest, do not talk much but not be distant as well. She refuses to do that. She says she is a free girl who wants to be herself, and should dance and make others to watch her. She encourages other girls follow her steps and pay no attention to gossips around them. Even her outfit is a mixture of traditional elemens like Armenian jewerly and hairstyle and a modern dress with open shoulders and relatevly short skirt that is NOT typical for traditional Armenian dress where everything is button upped.

Here is my interpretation. She says everyone is telling her how to behave ‘properly’. She says don’t listen to gossip and just do what makes you happy. Pomegranate is a symbol of fertility in Armenia. The carpets are handwoven crafts. The Armenian culture tends to be very macho with the father being the head of household. In the end.
