The way I interpret this MV is: The whole story is a reminiscient of their past MVs (LS, Goodbye Road, I'm Okay) with bits of easter eggs per scene. It's like they're being nostalgic about their past, they will NOT forget it but they have to move on. The lyrics is telling us that no matter what, the past they had with BI will always be with them but they have to let him go. They were riding on the bus and burned it in the end. Remember when they first debuted? They entered the stage riding a bus. For me it feels like they're putting an end to that era of iKON. They're burning it with heavy hearts but like I've said, they need to move on. So that's why they turned their backs and walked away. The passé/pourquoi for me signifies that they're still aware of the past, even calling them and reminding them but DK had to decline answering so they could focus on what's infront of them. Also, Bobby threw the ring, I remember during their countdown he said that his scene was significant. It could prolly be him throwing their "friendship" ring and leaving it behind... The choreo itself says about how they matured, they became men (as Song said) and is showing us that things really changed. But they're still iKON no matter what. The gestures are so elegantly done only iKON can pull off. If you watch ReacttotheK's reaction, they talked about the musicality of this song and you will be blown away on how everything (even the notes, chord and arrangement!!!) is RELATIVE!! Please watch it if you haven't! They talked about how well-done it is, how smooth the arrangement was and the meaning behind each chords. iKON came back hard! They deserve an award for this. Damn. Let's keep the views up guys! Let's vote for them. Let's show others that iKON is it's own genre and that's on periodt! (sorry for the long post ✌🏻)

Finally you guys reacted to Ikon. They had many good songs "Killing Me, I'm Ok, Goodbye Road" and many moreeeee. The message of the song "Why, Why, Why" is very relatable to their past leader "Ikon B.I" in my opinion. It is very emotional😔

It's song about not being able to accept a break up. But members said they wanted to portray their journey as well so the lyrics and mv are very meaningful and there are a lot of details. The last scene is the most powerful. It is the climax but it ends abruptly making you feel there should be sth more. It was intended by the members to be that way. The last words are: there hasn't been a moment I haven't loved you. Even now I love you. DK is looking at the phone (you can see earlier in the video when phone is in the jar filled with water that passé (fr the past) is calling him). In the mv they are in the same bus that is later on in flames. It symbolizes that they want to let go of sth that was once essential for them, sth what enabled them to reach the now. Although they have to let it go it is painful. In The last sequence DK is looking at the phone at a bus station (all the members are there gathered to later get in this bus) checking for the last time if maybe there is a message that will hold them back from taking this painful journey (you can see in the mv that they are together in the bus but they are numb, there is no joy of travelling together, each member is with his own thoughts bcz everyone of them is aware of the inevitable end of the journey. They are saying goodbye silently to all what once was the core of their lives). The last scene after this haunting and emotional lyrics (which indicates that this wound will never be fully cured) is when in silence they are turning back from the burning bus (their past) and they are heading towards the future. Honestly it's difficult to understand this mv without knowing their history. There are also connections to their previous mvs like Love Scenario, Goodbye Road and I'm ok. Interesting thing is that in the I'm ok mv there is also burning car but only one person is standing there. So the mvs kind of complete each other. If you will check the mvs and lyrics carefully you will have a better understanding of the whole context. I truly recommend to check them.

The bus symbolise their past memory with the leader. Cus they're use the bus for their first debut concert. They must move on even it hard for them. This like acceptance for their fate.

For us iKONICS the song is super emotional because the lyrics relate a lot to what they went through, a little more than a year ago, when one of the precious members and leader Hanbin (another great rapper, main composer and basically Bobby's perfect partner) had to quit for a ridiculous rumour (actually something meaningless for us, in the west) and that's been actually proven false. It was a super painful low blow because the matter was treated like he was a criminal, and the truth couldn't be further than that, everything was so unfair. These boys literally were raised like brothers since very young age, they came alive from two survival shows and Hanbin was always an anchor holding them afloat and together. Bobby and Hanbin were inseparable and a bomb in the stage. If you watch their realities and variety shows you'll see how they all care about each other a lot. So the lyrics of course broke our hearts and seems pretty obvious that there's and indirect message. Anyways that's what happened and now the boys are still in the process of moving forward. But if you keep reacting to IKON you'll see they're a super talented, versatile and one of kind group in the K-pop industry. Their style hits different, their songs tend to be deeper, but they can also have fun with awesome hip hop songs, their vocal techniques are more adventurous, they're stage presence is insane, they're amazing dancers, and their discography is GOLD. This is their first comeback as six, and wooooww what an amazing comeback they brought, their quality just keeps getting higher, this song has such a wide emotional range and the beat is just so addictive! They just amaze me every time in every single way and I can't wait to see them in KINGDOM.

An interesting fact is.. iKON first debut concert was them riding a bus. Imo the bus burning scene meant something like 'the past they adored is now gone, they can't do anything except witnessing and crying for it. But they still have to be strong and move on'. Also when they were sitting in that bus, one seat was empty (I assumed it was BI's). I'm crying

in my perspective this song was written for B.I, their former leader and producer. In a way, the members are saying they feel so apologetic they couldn't even protect him or do more for him (he was entangled with a drug scandal and left yg entertainment but released of all charges). now they're both (iKON & B.I) moving forward with their own paths. the bus represents a tour bus and if you noticed, they left a seat empty. idk, maybe it's just me. maybe that empty seat meant to represent the absence of B.I they're such a talented group. very underrated to a certain extent. they do well with their hype hip-hop songs but their emotional slow-tempo songs reaches fans on a different level.

The entire MV represent snippets of their past as a group. DK gets a phone call from the past (Passe in french) but he doesn’t answer it. Jay & Bobby are waiting in a bus station + Bobby throws a ring that symbolizes a past relationship. Then they all leave to somewhere in a bus and end up burning it which means there’s no way back to the past they just left anymore. I think the entire song is about them ending a very sad chapter in their life and starting another.

Basically this song,choreo mv its self tells stories... Thei former leader BI likes flower, spanish word, and nature...
