this trick is to make your soil acid..if your soil ph is already good ( neutral 6.5 to 7)for your plants, they don't need it , very few plants need the soil acid and not this does not substitute fertilizers.( Ps, I never try this , if you need to make your soil acid , they sell few products special for this.)
