Lacey life/adulting is hard, give yourself a break, being a single mom is not easy and comes with its own anxiety on top of life/adulting anxiety, im 43 was a single mom for 7yrs (he's now 20) so believe me I get it, I was bullied as a kid and people who I thought were my friends would arrange to meet me at the weekend at our local shopping centre (mall) and then not show up we didn't have mobiles back then, early 90s so we couldn't just call people and say hey were are you? In school on Monday they would laugh with eachother about being busy doing other things so I have a lot of anxiety about going anywhere by myself, I couldn't even sit in a cafe or macdonnalds by myself until my second son was born (he's now 9) even now I still struggle hate going to the shops by myself I hate clothes shopping I don't drive anymore, after I got followed home from my job late at night 25mins down country roads all the way to my house where the car stopped watched me go inside then slowly drove off and it freaked me out. My 20yr old son has anxiety on the phone trying to set up appointments so I totally get it. Just know every time you do a new thing your over coming your fear just a little bit so be proud of the things you achieve. Your doing awesome don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise ❤❤❤

I'm 43 with 4 kids and when I'm tired and done they all look at me to feed them EVERYDAY and multiple times a day. I used to be like you...a friend taught me how to overcome it...when you walk into a business, walk in standing straight up, head high...Act like you own the place...(But always be nice)...when talking don't say, can I leave...say, I will be leaving while this is being done.
