Yeah i believe when games become more realistic and able to express reality and reflect each person’s individuality, people will respect it more. I think people should have a great ideas that can make virtual reality an experience similar to real life but even so much more because it will be a virtual world made by computers and creative people and not bound by real life limitations.

Fun story, about 20 years ago I went to a job interview right after school at Best Buy. That was the shortest interview I ever had. The manager came out, saw I was wearing jeans, and told me he couldn't hire me because they only wear khaki at Best Buy. This is not a joke, this actually happened to me. From that point on I pretty much just avoid Best Buy out of spite. To be fair though the hiring manager did tell me I could come back, but at the point I just said forget it.

I walked into a Dick's Sporting Goods store in my early 20's. I went to check out the work out equipment on display. I wasn't bothering anyone or being loud. I did a couple pull ups on a machine, checked the maximum weight, fiddled with the adjustable positions, and a manager came over and told me not to touch the displays. I asked how I was supposed to choose which one to buy if I couldn't touch them and why there weren't any "Do not touch" signs. He grumbled and told me again the machines are display only and threatened to call security. I pulled $1,500 in cash out of my pocket, the cash I saved up and brought to buy a machine, waved it towards him, and walked out. I won't buy anything from those dicks. Best Buy? Didn't have the more expensive headphones on display. The clueless sales rep suggested Beats by Dre when I said I was looking for headphones with good clarity but a little extra bass. I bought them, tried them in the parking lot, thought they had way too much bass, and immediately returned them. I bought another suggested pair around $200, didn't like them, returned, bought another, returned, and was told I wasn't allowed to return anything else for several months or a year, can't recall. I've refused to shop there too ever since. Best buy your electronics elsewhere, Amazon doesn't whine about returns.

Best Buy fired me because I used my employee discount for myself but had my brother pay for it (even though the rule was you could use it with immediate family) because it was was a birthday gift (head unit for my car). So after that I went to circuit city right up until the time they went out of business. But everything you said was accurate. I also worked in mobile and hated it lol. Funny enough, they fired me thinking that I was trying to pull a fast one or something but knew the biggest culprits from theft at the store was the main LP guy, warehouse workers, and car audio 😂.

I went back to Best Buy that night only to find out I needed a GPU..... oh and along with that I needed a better PSU as well. Long story short I got home it was summer, I was sweating profusely franticly trying to figure out how to install everything. I finally got every thing figured out and started playing PREY at 11pm. Was it all worth it? Hell yeah, that game was awesome. I have built my own PC's from then on using the vast knowledge on the internet and never taken my PC into a "tech service".

Lol I liked the detailed description of Best Buy and the stories. Never been an employee, only a customer, so I had to guess what the areas I can't access look like. This is a replica of the one in my area but I'm taking notes for when I update it - like adding the metal detectors (which if I had a dollar for every time they DIDN'T kill the security tag causing the alarm to go off on me walking out....) Not sure who ported this over to Bonelabs but I'll be updating it on CS2 so they may have to do it again. I stupidly bought Boneworks instead of Bonelab because it was on sale not knowing anything about the games. Otherwise I'd try importing it to Bonelabs myself. I'll have to look into how to do it for Boneworks so then I can play it. I'm too cheap to spend $40 on Bonelabs and I never see it on sale on Steam.

One thing I noticed about the Mobile section is that the locked cage is seemingly missing from the map. But as with many other commenters this is so relatable (Long Time Customer POV). Just like 27:30 I can just hear the background noise, people, HVAC, and the occasional loud music blast from the Automotive Sound section… not to mention the alarms that would go off because someone yanked on the EAS cable a little too far or someone failed to deactivate the alarm tag and the loss prevention towers at the entrance/exit would go off.
