Dedicated individuals like Tim take us to the creatures habitats as well as the reserve to help us understand that ecology is a system with so many niches, and like Jenga blocks, if a nich is destroyed, eventually the system will collapse. @Vicki Barkfull I have also noticed this on quite a few shows and movies. It really stinks because I'm hard of hearing and have tinnitus which is a constant ringing in my ears. I have been watching things with closed captioning for some time now because I can't hear all the words spoken and can glance down at the closed captioning to reveal what I hadn't heard.

We have whipoorwill birds in Canada, and the female with chicks will do the same behaviour to protect her babies. I almost walked on a nest in a gravel pit in Ontario (central Canada), as I hadn't noticed the mum on her nest. She went straight into her broken wing act to lead me away. I got out of there pretty quick! Those babies were adorable, just like the curler chicks at Tim's park!

12:34 What was going on with the lizard’s upper neck area? Was he doing? By the way, the timing (12:34) that brings you to the exact spot where it shows the lizard’s neck, it catches Tim seemingly say “I like snakes” in a childlike manner. I kept pressing the time thing just to hear him say “I like snakes”, even though that’ and over again. It was then I realized I heard him incorrectly.

I know this isn't the official Channel for the show and Tim will probably never see this but a little advice to Tim is..Never take your eyes off of a wild animal especially when you're letting it go to talk to the camera for the viewers. Just make sure the animal is safely away from you first..that's all. This is all coming from a good place because I just worry about all of the handlers and professionals that have to interact with all of these wild animals on a daily basis..anything could happen! So please be careful and stay safe out there. ✌️😘❤️🏜️🦎🦘🐨

@rickh37143 жыл бұрын
Could it be the lack of normal occasional predator interactions that stops the adults presenting food to the chicks? Or over-freshness of food? IE they may feed themselves the choice portions in the wild and slightly rotten (more digestible?) food to the chicks? Could you try slightly older, more sundried or slightly rotten food?

I'm mad at today's chapter, if you're doing wildlife education you should teach about staying out, starfish drown out of the water, and if you think a few seconds or minutes won't affect it think hundreds of people are going to remove it from the water every day, which does influence, I hope that in future chapters they will emphasize that they are harming wildlife if they try to take it incorrectly out of their natural environment

I like Tim but I was unimpressed with him interfering with nature. It is not that big of a deal interacting with the animals in the reptile park; they are already in captivity. However, it is not okay to disturb animals in nature. They are free, and don't deserve to be captive for even a moment.

I feel sad and concerned that you’re encouraging people to handle wildlife. These brief kidnappings stress the animals out; this stress weakens their reserves. And their numbers are in severe decline already. Not everyone is as brief or gentle as you, and I can easily envision some keeping the animals. Sadly, I see this “rock pulling “ practice as further harming the wildlife, which is completely opposite your intent.

100% that was a staged Perentie (the one he grabbed). Sorry Tim, love your enthusiasm, but there is no way that lizard was just there ready at your will ready, and no one would advise you to grab him. Again, sorry but I'm calling it, he would've ran off as soon as he saw you!
