Wow! Going into the world of the nametag to explore SpongeBob’s inaccurately perceived external identity, and having him scale the Krusty Krab sign to view the turmoil down below, only to rise above it on those glorious pink bubbles (two of them containing reflections of his teammates)- genius! I love it! Great job!

Because the producer honestly understood what made the original seasons of spongebob great and she got some damn good artists on board to compose the songs(which honestly makes me wish she would help with the actual show...because if you watch them talk about making it they talk about inspirations from the show and the things those came from where the show would just throw stuff at a wall to see what stuck unlike now tbh)

I think it’s because of Spongebobs constant positivity and naive nature, we’re so used to him being adorably oblivious to every negative thing in the world that when it does hit him it feels wrong. Anger is somewhat understandable given Spongebobs current lifestyle but sadness is something Spongebob doesn’t usually express, especially when what’s making him crying is actually relatable. Like losing your house or missing a new episode of your favorite TV show. Edit: I’m talking more about the show in general instead of the musical

Oh god, where to start: This is brilliant. I mean, amazing. You captured the tone of the original cartoon beautifully like how Spongebob slid under the desk and him crawling on the Krusty Krab sign is amazing and very....Disney-esque. I especially loved the costume change at the climax. Was that referencing something in particular or just Spongebob looking fancy for that part? I really hope you do the other songs. I bet “Hero is my Middle Name” you’d be great at!

This is great! The visuals keep that absurd undercurrent of the show but still serve the narrative. (Like the use of the letters, which has already been pointed out!) The final chorus with the pink bubbles took me by surprise, I was wondering how you'd portray that moment and would never have predicted that. XD Nice work!

I went to cottonwood highschool for a school field trip and it was an SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical Play (I think) it was like a 2 hour field trip i heard this song but different voice. It warmed my heart while hearing this! I love this song so much, glad that i got to hear it again!❤

Great animatic, I've fallen in love with the transitions as it feels so real, so local and appreciable. A few suggestions though 1.) Add more key frames: I know it's not the first time that you've heard this and it won't be near the last, but it would really go hand in hand with the style of transition you used. It 2.) Animate the mouths more: The words felt like they didn't belong to the animated character, because the mouths weren't supporting the music. Animating the mouth makes the animation become the Spongebob, the Plankton, et cetera that we all know. 3.) Make sure the frames are focused on the words: Starting at 0:34, Spongebob went on a little journey in his name tag which isn't really an issue in and of itself, but it's difficult to have it continuously being on the subject while the name tag is the setting. SpongeBob wants to be a contender to have a denture both of which would be part of being manager of the Krusty Krab. For that reason it would make more sense to have the Krusty Krab be the setting of the 1st chorus. It's difficult to encompass his desires when the name tag and his friends are in play because they don't really connect as well to the lyrics as the Krusty Krab, because the Krusty Krab is what he's thinking about until the company sings with him. I understand if I sound like a dick here, because in a way I am being one. I don't mean any offense to you, it's just that I find real potential in your work and I'd love for it to be the best that it could be. Good luck with future prospects, and I'm here before you hit 10k subs 😝
