I've never been diving anywhere, but it looks like being in outer space, or in a different world, so I can see why so many people love doing it..

Looks nothing like space and everything like a cave just with water *cave diving* it’s just the scuba gear and the floating that is related to space and makes them kind of look like some kind of astronauts of the sea

@@BigSmokeLV I think caves can look pretty otherworldly, even dry ones. But I think the combination of 1. Being utterly reliant on your equipment and your ability to operate it, 2. The physical sensation of weightlessness (especially when using scooters), and 3. The hues of the water and the way it interacts with the lights, add up to that feeling even more so in underwater caves.

Incredible dive. Effortless trim and buoyancy. Definitely hoping to reach this level of capability someday.

@@aocfishman00 Went to Ginnie and Blue Grotto for the first time last month. Was invited by a friend and instructor from the shop that was teaching a Trimix course in the area. Got to learn how to run the reel in the Ballroom. Still have some more dives to log, but I’m well on my way. Cheers! And keep the content coming!

No alligators living there? Seems like it would be a good spot for them.

Nice! Kinda scary to see those rocks on the floor of the cave knowing that they were once on the ceiling.

During the summer, it's usually crap. And it was this weekend. Green and hazy 5-10' until the thermocline at 30'

Both the primary upstream and downstream tunnels are >2,000' in length, though there is ongoing exploration in both. And yes, freedivers have been using the basin and ballroom.

@@aocfishman00 I heard the boys from "Dive Talk" say you shouldn't even think about diving Eagles Nest if your not cave certified and that this shouldn't be like your second or third cave dive due to how dangerous it is and has claimed several lives. Beautiful video!! Just watched some free divers on "DIVE TALK" Silt out in the first few minutes of the dive Seriously some people shouldn't ever strap fins on.

@@aocfishman00 Makes you wonder where all that water goes. I always thought due to their size, and location they might be. Thought the same of Diepolder too.
