I love Thrushpelt so much. He's just such a kind and caring cat who only wanted Bluestar(fur) to love him. He wasnt like Ashfur or Bumblestripe where they almost forced their crushes into love, he just wants her to be happy. And instead of telling the leader that Bluestar(fur) must've had kits with a cat outside ThunderClan, he does everything he can to make Bluestar(fur) happy, and keep her kits safe. He's just so caring and kind, and probably one of my favorite warrior cats.

@@boipoi_78 I'd say Bluestar doesn't owe anything to Thrushpelt, but I'd have wished for Thrushpelt to move on and get his own mate and kits. I wonder if Bluestar ever realized that he never, ever gave up loving her and just wanting her to be happy that he never got his own mate or kits. Thrushpelt could have ruined Bluestar by telling everyone about her forbidden romance. He could have stopped her from becoming leader, stopped her from being in ThunderClan. He could have made everyone turn against Bluestar, and he could have not been there when she needed someone most during her time period of having kits in the clan. I guess Bluestar still never trusted him enough to tell him about the actuality of the kit's fate while he was alive, thinking he would tell everyone about it. I would have loved to see Thurshboi's kits because his design is ADORABLE with the freckles, I sympathize for what a good cat he was while he was alive, but honestly, I think he should have moved on and tried spending his time finding someone else. Bluefur owes him nothing for what he did, it's her choice on what to do, but I just wish Thrush didn't spend so much time trying to love her when he already knew he could never have that.

Rewatching this for the second or so time today and I paused at the exact right moment to catch a frame of Thrushpelt without his head at 1:31 . I was delighted to see this. It reminds me of all the hard work going into these projects and how, even after doing everything right to the best of your ability, you can’t always fix every glitch. It’s funny when paused, but doesn’t take away from the real goal of the project.

this is scripted so wellll, the parts flow into each other so flawlessly god i love the little scene with goosefeather it's perfect the editing is so smooth, the art is so atmospheric and emotional, just really good for highlighting a character that deserves more attention the ending scene is so good, not being the ending that thrushpelt wants or was hoping for, neither him nor bluefur completely happy with how things are turning out big big big favorite character-centric mappp for sure
