I love my sound machine that plays sounds of nature and soft music. It’s relaxing. I keep it by my bed because I usually have a lot on my mind when I go to bed. I also like to brainstorm ideas for future events (I keep a composition book by my bed as well). It helps. And prayer.

Maybe an A6 size journal to write letters to Scott or jot down memories of your lives together for yourself and for your kids to have as a keepsake of memories of your lives together.

When I was going thru a lot, a used a soft furry blanket to pet or stoke or snuggle with if trying to nap. I couldn’t always take my dog with me. A really soft stuffed animal worked too. I did paint by number when my mom was in hospice. Solitaire with real cards is always good. I often carry a crystal in my pocket. I have several different kinds and I’ll choose which one I need for that day.

Thank you for all of this. I didn't even think of my crystals oR the stuffed bear Scott made for me at Build a Bear! Where do you find paint by number anymore? I used to love doing those.

I am so glad your work situation has been worked out. Such a blessing, and prayers do work. I will be in prayer for your dh and brother. I knew you would be back when you could. Dont worry about us, we will be here upon your return! I struggle sometimes. I am a widow of over 8 years. It doesnt really seem that long, but when I need some help up, I go and get hugs and kisses from my grandkids. I have 5 grandaughters, and a grandson! I also, dream of my new house that I want to build in a few years. KZbin is also my friend. Joyful thing that happened.....my oldest grandaughter spent the weekend with me!🤑

Hi. A photograph that makes you giggle everytime you see it. Do you think you can show us a picture of your book shelf. . The music should be very low. Just sit and read. Maybe you could put a small container of hand lotion. Self care. My brother came and took some things to my locker. He helped me put budgeting binders on my shelf. Take out a huge bag of clothing to the donation bin. He was so happy to do it. He lives 1/2 hour away. He is a great brother. He always takes care of me when he can. He works a lot and has an almost 19 yr old son.
