Awe Stacy you really choked me up about Olivia. I have a disabled wheelchair bound daughter with moderate learning disabilities. Your little girl and the loss of her really touched my heartstrings. My lass is now 30 and in supported living. I am legally blind so ended up having to do gpthis when she reached 21. Like you, I have previously done caring work and in my late thirties I trained as a nurse. You come across as a people’s person. I have watched Martin & Sharon for a couple of years. Nearly every time Martin does a review on a gadget I end up fpgetting it. And I’ve done the Keto carnivore diet, before Martin!! What is coming across with M&S, T&B and your vlogs, is the love and how all if you are so family orientated. Credit to S&M have raised their 2 sons and 1 daughter so well. It’s a joy tge Ben and you are also their daughter and son. All the grandchildren are involved. It’s an.absolute delight to see. Probably why you all have so many viewers. I wish you and Gary all the very best fot your new arrival, due very soon. Wish I crocheted you something for tge bubba now! Lol. 😀🩷👍🦋😎

Hi Stacey, I love the fact you still talk about your daughter.... I still talk about my twin, who I lost at 35. Nothing wrong with keeping memories of people in the present. It keeps them with us, and I find that perfect and the way it should be. xx

How particularly honoured you must all feel having had Olivia for that short and precious time in your lives. That she was loved and cared for and consequently happy is such a blessing. Lovely video Stacey. Always enjoy when you pop up in Butlers Empire but so nice to learn more about you as a person. So so sorry about your beautiful little Olivia. She was a beautiful child. I took am a community carer. I've been in the job six years now. I support anyone from their 20s with mental health, autism etc all the way up to elderly with dementia. A lot of the time we are the only person they will see day to day and look at us more like a friend. It can be a very tough job at time but I wouldn't change it x

Hi Stacey. You are doing a very worthwhile job caring for people. I was a nurse manager in a care home, and ended up doing paliative care in the community. We need more people like you in the care system. Its always nice to know about peoples background, and where they are today. Thats so lovely about James with Olivia, such a lovely family. Listening to you talk about Olivia had me in tears. You said you would explain what was "wrong" with her. I hope you won't take this the wrong way, but I hate people saying there is something wrong with people born with, something they can't control. It's only a phrase, but my god, I hate people who say words far worse than that too describe people born slightly different to them. Including, myself, my daughter, nephew, cousin, her daughter, etc. Tell us what she did to bring happiness and joy to your life as well. They are the best memories!

I have to be very careful how I word things, I also tend to speak in quite medical terms which others may not understand. Olivia was perfect to us, no matter what medical issues she had. You'd be surprised the amount of medical professionals that say "what was wrong with Olivia" I've learned not to take offence anymore. Sometimes it's the easiest way for people to ask about her many disabilities 😊

I thought that when I was nursing, we used to do all we needed to do in the morning, then in the afternoon, we had time to talk to the patients , and find out things that that meant we could maybe help them with things , to make their lives more comfortable, , before retirement , it just became more and more paperwork , no time to talk to patients , which I missed. The whole role had completely changed. So sorry regarding Olivia. I think one of lives hardest things to loose a child. My thoughts are witty you, x hope all goes well with your current pregnancy , not much longer to wait. Well done Evie.

I used to care for a child with severe disabilities some years back. Sadly she died aged 15. Gosh the children look grown up since I last saw them. I know what you mean about not having enough time to talk to residents in care homes they run on as least staff as possible . I also worked in a care home for dementia . You are a lovely family ❤
