В России на эти машины был бы большой спрос- производи тойота эти тачки 70й и 76серии коротыши и 5дв в России! Компания вместо того,чтобы уходить - оставила бы технологию,остнастку и чертежи русским и сейчас был бы в России отличный автомобиль по человеческой цене ! Но вот сама тойота- могла бы не только производить эти легендарные машины в России и добавив еще и пикап на их базе - еще бы продавала бы их во все страны - союзников России в Закавказье и в страны Средней Азии и была бы еще и с прибылью и с нехилой! Но решили : лучше стать раком чем осетром!😊

Everything made today has to be BIG. Something the size of a FJ40 or CJ5 (A bit smaller) Perfect. The Jimmy or Suzuky a bit to small. The Old 4 Runners about right, Today everything the size of a Suburban or larger. Look at the humongous Trucks of today, macho man look but but not for offroading or work. This is back to basic 4 Wheeling. Keep it simple. BUT it's missing a 5 Spd manual tranny. Guess today few know how to Clutch and shift

Toyota doesn't import the 2 door model into the states, like their diesel. All Americans get is the 4 door, Tahoe looking vehicle, and it only comes with a 4 cylinder hybrid.
