They played this song on the radio in my freshman year in the early fall of 1996. It was my first year as a high school student at the age of 15. This week is the 25th anniversary of my mother being deceased. She officially passed away at the age of 44 on Tuesday night February, 24 1998. I was only at the age of 16. It took me a long time for me to find this song. It really ministers to the emotional part of my soul. It is one of the most beautiful songs I have not heard since I was 15. I really enjoy the beauty of the music behind the lyrics of the song.

"Just As Long As We Have Love by Spinners...with Lyrics" We may not have a mansion on a hill Mink coats and diamonds by the score But the things we have no man could ever take it Just the two of us, now who could ask for more? We may not have a big stashed away No one knows what tomorrow brings But as long as I have you there's no mistaken That the world is ours to do most anything Baby just as long as we have love To show us we can lean on If we fall Baby just as long as we have love We'll have it all We may not have a change of clothes to wear The price of love is all we pay We can show the World when two hearts beat together We don't even need to know the time of day Let all the people keep their wealth and fame And those in fancy diamond rings There's a price to pay when two worlds Dealt between us We can share the World 'cause we have ev'rything Baby just as long as we have love To show us we can lean on If we fall Baby just as long as we have love We'll have it all (We'll have it all) Baby just as long as we have love To show us we can lean on (hmm-mm-m-mmm) If we fall Just as long as we have love To show us we can lean on (Oh yes we can now) If we fall Baby just as long as we have love To show us we can lean on (Oooh we can lean) If we fall (Baby!) Yeah I do, simpler times before social networking etc. When you could remember 30,40 phone numbers + you actually had to talk to people. Now everything's typing from a keyboard. Don't get me wrong modern times has its upside I just think a lot was lost to get there. Im still friends with people i met in elementary school. My childhood boys are like my brothers to this day + even though we don't see each other as often because some of us moved when we get together the love is even stronger. I love some modern technology like KZbin, bluetooth, some aspects of cell phones, I can do without Facebook, Instagram etc. I don't have any + maybe I should just because it's easier to catch up with old friends, I see the bullshit that goes on from social networking, drama, fights, just stuff that is so unbecoming that I usually don't feel Im really missing anything. Sorry for rambling on. Peace to anyone who I bored. God bless

Songs back in the day has meaningful words and lyrics. Just plain english words put together that makes a great song. Now, why does artist cannot make songs like this one no more? Music nowadays always has words with booty call, sex, money, spread your legs type of thing, there is no more respect involve. It is a sad world. 70's really is the golden era man. I wish I can rewind back those years.
