Please stop misunderstanding the song because of the title. This song is about breaking up with someone but still wanting to cherish the memories you had with them and thus, wanting to stay as friend because you still love them as a person. It is not about being rejected by your crush.

This song was recommended by youtube and as a vocaloid fan i checked this out nostalgia flooded in me until i remembered back then i started liking this guy when we were kids, everyday when i go out to play i always check out if his there and if he does i came rushing down outside we became friends for almost 4 years and i had fun hanging out with him, theres no day that i wont cherish with him but i was at 6th grade when my childhood crush was moving out i was devastated that i wont see him again and that i didnt even said i liked him what's worst is that he didnt even say a proper goodbye to me i moved on from the past 5 years later i saw him at the same school i was studying i was afraid to aproach him since he might already forget about me and to my surprise he moved back at the same neighborhood i was in but still, im too afraid to talk to him after like a month or so i got to talk to him on the internet and what a coincidence he is also afraid to approach me since he thought i already forgot about him we talked for who god knows how long, until he bring up that topic.. He said that he liked me before i was shock becuase i told him i felt the same back then i was just afraid to say it since back then theres also a girl who liked him whats worst that its my one of my friends, we laugh the conversation out, butterflies started to form in my stomach but to my demise i shouldnt have expect too much, he already like another girl and they have been dating, i was.. i dont know how to feel i asked who the girl was and it was one of my classmates at that time i accepted the fact that those feelings are just in the past and that he doesnt feel the same way, i smiled and just accpet that we will just be friends and that i would cherish our childhood feelings and memories
