When the queen is dying it reminds me of the scene of the Empress dying on Love Like The Galaxy. The emperor loved his concubine but his marriage to the Empress was an alliance, not love. She told the Emperor that she was lucky to have met and married him. But hope they never meet in their next life. She wanted her simple life in the mountains like she had before. Ditto for this Emperor. If he forget his vow of fidelity to his wife then he should be destined to never meet her in their next lives. He wasn't even her first love, that schmuck betrayed her too. When he begged her to marry him, she didn’t want to for the very fact that she wanted to be in a marriage where she would be the only wife/woman of her husband, she made this very clear in the very beginning. He agreed 100% to this without reservation. Obviously then he became Emperor but her stance never changed, she supported him 100% to get to where he did, in history she gave him 5 sons and 5 daughters so no need to worry about heirs etc. But he got greedy and slept with someone else and broke their solemn vows, now should she have killed her, no in my opinion, she should have banished her. And if I was her she should have punished him by not supporting him anymore, but she couldn’t do that she was an Empress who had to out the interests of her country before herself, and for the most part she was very selfless. He was a greedy man who became unfaithful and my god that had to of hurt her very badly.
