Nice! I’ve been running my lower spec version of this with pestilence when I’m playing with my mates. They get constant bleed bullets. It’s to the point where they don’t pick up special ammo anymore because it gets replaced with bleed immediately.

As I also commented in your other video (THE BLUESCREEN IS A BEAST! THE DIVISION 2!!), the best Bleed build, in my experience, is: Pestilence + Vile Mask + 4 Piece Ongoing Directive + Golan Gear Chest with "Trauma" Talent... With each hit the armor talent is triggered and the bullets are immediately bloodless. In addition, the Pestilence's own talent is also triggered. The damage is insane!!! Much greater and faster than the combination you propose. Try it to believe!!!

I apologize for my critical comment... But (only now) I realized that even in this video there is a widespread error between Division 2 players: The Vile Mask has nothing to do with Fragmentation Grenades. the Vile Mask only and exclusively amplifies damage of the CONCUSSION GRENADE. Therefore, the Demolitionist specialization only amplifies the damage of the Vile Mask if the Concussion Grenade is used. Please read the indications of the Vile Mask more carefully.

An alternative to glass cannon is spotter it amps weapon damage, and bleed tick. Use that with Everlasting gaze rifle works like a charm.

I prefer to use jammer pulse or stinger hive to ensure that you get the initial status effect kill to start off the hollow point rounds

@@ogatak4158 this. with demo spec you apply bleed with your status grenade. just go down to the range and toss a nade at the AOE targets to get hollow points and off you go.

I have a similar build, haven't run it for a while, but it's a lot of fun. For chest I have petrov, weapon dmg, headshot, status effects and the trauma talent. All mods are headshot, I hadn't considered protection from elites, might be worth a go. I use the fixer drone and stinger hive for proc'ing the bluescreen. Survivalist is also a good choice with 10% bonus damage to targets with status effects.

Thanks for the content, these builds are great for five directives! I’m currently using 4P OGD with Memento and Picaro’s along with Police M4 using Sadist. Skills - stinger hive and shield. Works great for my play style!

it's really because OD makes it's own ammo as it goes, which is a good start for any directive build, especially if you don't really need your skills regardless and you are cowering in cover (because glass cannon and bluescreen is a good shooter at range).

china glass chest or golan is swapping stronger bleed for stronger vile ticks- it's pretty much a wash both ways. Does ~220k combined tick that way.

I've been using this build for weeks, it's really cool and satisfying to see the enemies bleed to death while you're chilling behind cover. The difference here is that I either use Pestilence or Scorpio and a main gun with "sadist" for the extra 20% damage over bleeding targets. You can also change the chest from GOLAN to CHINA LIGHT INDUSTRIES because of the 15% explosive damage, which buffs the damage from the Vile mask, spec it with 10% status effect for even more damage. Also, the "status effect" attribute doesn't make it last longer, makes it deals more status effect damage. What makes it go for a longer period is the backpack's special perk.

yup GC china or golan chest are basically equivalent here and the way to go for max effetiveness, either works (trades bleed damage for vile ticks and vice versa from the brand). I like it better in challenging 5 directives vs heroic, in heroic they live long enough to occasionally Rambo up to you and kill you whilst bleeding out, due to the higher HP pool and damage output.

@@grumpyoldman6503 China Light deals 5% more damage though, since it's +15% for explosives (brand set) and you can spec +10% for status = 25% total. GOLAN only gives +10% status and +10% spec'ed status = 20%. And since Vile gets its ticks from the concussion grenade damage, 5% of over 1.5mil damage is more than anything else here. My build makes them bleed for ~200k a tick (almost evenly between OD and VILE ticks), with slight variations depending if I'm using a gun with damage out of cover or to armor, but non-armored enemies tick the ~200k + any other damage I may inflict with my gun.

@xTuffman no disagreement. like I said, they are very close but GC China is very slightly higher. It's not really enough to change how the build plays. If you have a Golan piece, use that, and it's fine.

Ive done so many combinations of ongoing directive because its just a satisfying build, not used vile mask though, the best build i ran was with bullet king for obvious reasons, and with creeping death, it was an insane build. Theres so many varieties of builds you can use, from dps to skill builds etc etc. Not made another build for awhile and since we are stuck with 500 loudout spots its challenging to keep making different builds even though i have two mule characters im still getting rid of good gear..its hard to just stick with 16 loudouts lol, because as you know so many build varieties out there especially now we have ninjer bike pack, its ok, not the best back pack but if youre into making strange builds its fun..GGs

OD right now even buffs skill damage when you have bleed bullets in your mag, so it even makes for the base of the (ironically) strongest pure skill damage build. that with flatline is buffing skill damage (in what seems to be a 'bug'), so caveat emptor.

go down to the range and toss a spec 'nade at the AoE targets on the left. pistol will get HP shots, HP shots ticking and a weapon swap gets you bluescreen ammo when they die and you are off to the races. or, you can just start your first fight with a grenade and wait for someone to die.

@@Jigz67 yes, same with momento stacks and is always the case with pistolero directive. That is a protip (avoid fast travel to safe houses) for any directive build farming the open world.

indeed, that is the other way people like to run. I think the pesti shoots like crap vs the bluescreen, but to each their own. bluescreen has greater utility, especially because you can drop a hive to force tagged people out of cover to load them up again more or less at will. edit- other advantage is you can perma stun tech (like dogs, which you otherwise can't bleed) with the bluescreen disrupt. only takes 10 shots to get to that effect, drop skill, stun dog (vile kicks in because of status, OD mark timer comes back up, so you don't even lose your ammo if you blow them up), repeat.

If you look under the bullet info on your screen you’ll see the Bluescreen symbol filling as you’re hitting your targets , then when you use a skill you will stagger your enemies

I maintain however that when all's said and done, like in a previous comment I made, that convoys should never give less than all other activities (except control points) based on the number of enemy waves and nature (mobilty/npc aid) of the comparison.

Can we cut the clickbait bullshit and stop pretending that these arent group support builds and nothing more? There is no armor regen and against anything other than the red non armored AI, the bleed and status effects do next to nothing compared to the raw weapon damage. I ran every variant with all the combos stated in the comments and nothing was really that viable for solo play heroic let alone running with directives and glass cannon on. Ive been trying to figure out a good dot build as I play solo 90% of the time and the only thing I have found that clears fast and has great survivability is pestilence with 2pc heartbreaker, 2pc WH, memento and contractors gloves. Even with all weapon damage rolls maxed, the tick from the pest dot ticks for about 1 mil which still doesnt mean much when each bullet landed hits for 200k-500k. The difference is with that build, I have very high armor regen and the dot will tick down and spread killing everything up to purple AI. The bleed damage from the hollow point ammo does seem to do a good chunk of damage but its still pretty irrelevant considering weapon damage overall.

@@djtickle I am not saying it cannot be done but there is next to no survivability with this build for solo play. Saying you can do heroic with directives means nothing as a simple skill build with accomplish that. The damage output is not that great considering how fragile you are.
