Ashley shares her story about being a mother to a micro-preemie in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). She talks about the importance of being included in the care team, and the foundation of confidence that provided her as she navigates raising her daughter.
This story was part of a workshop funded by the BC Complex Kids Society with the intention of bringing parents together around story to gain insight into the diverse lived experiences of parents raising medically complex children.
