Thats why education is so important… imagine abusing prescription pain pills to get high, drastically raising your tolerance. Then getting into a super painful injury where you hurt so bad you can’t even think, and the pain meds they’re giving you don’t work cuz you ruined your tolerance getting high. That’s the truth of the matter, and it happened to me, accept I didn’t abuse opioids prior to my injury and I’m so thankful for it.. I wouldn’t dare abuse my meds now because I actually need them to work everyday. Life’s all about perspective, the worse your life gets the more grateful you become for basic needs, and getting super high is just a luxury you can afford live without. You crave to function like a normal person and it’s so humbling.

Dude this is dead on point. I used to take a ton of Addie’s and would get so mad at other saying “I’m prescribed I have adhd “ and not realizing how insane I was acting. I was such an ass to so many

I get 100 perc 30’s prescribed a month for my fractured spine, but I use them very sparingly as I know they are addictive. At the moment I take one a day for the pain after work

Finding a guy like you to buy from when I was in addiction would have been a gold mine lol Good on you using them minimally. 4 30s a day will definitely have you in pretty deep and very difficult to get off of. My father has been prescribed opiates for 30 years since he had a bad accident and I can see how mentally slowed down and foggy he’s starting to become these days

@@RyukTheChosen a lot of people call them perc 30s. At least on the east coast they do. Oxy 30s/blues/whatever nickname you have for them, they get called perc 30s or 30s in Philly

Not really their fault though if they’re using it as prescribed, that’s on the doctors and healthcare system or pharmacy. If a doctor prescribes someone something and they have a bad reaction and the doctor didn’t tell them about how to handle it, that’s not their fault. Also another thing that bothers me is that people think you can get high from antidepressants, which you can’t. At least not from SSRIs.

Imagine getting 120 Oxycodone and 120 Vicodin HP then the whole mess of 2018 my specialty doc would still do the 120 oxy but not both! My brain was and still isn’t satisfied.
