HAPPY LAUNCH DAY 🎉🥳 I feel like this year’s song list is a MIX of masterpieces and flop-pieces, but overall is a GOOD song list, I didn’t give as many Megastars as I gave in my 2024, 2023 and 2022 rankings though, but the selected songs are really nice, even some songs from my fanmade song lists got in! Yeah, isn't it amazing! I no longer have to spend months learning 8 extreme maps. Just Dance is supposed to be a fun game for family and friends, not a professional dancer simulator. Having several Hard songs in the place of Extremes is much better for the overall audience since it gives more options for the average player rather than catering to the 1% of Extreme dancers.

Also the choreos are not too easy yet not too hard, so that ALL people can have fun playing the game, not just profesional dancers. It has the camera scoring option wich is AMAZING because playing with the Joy-cons is in my opinion worse. I dont see anything that is killing the game here buddy.

I 100% agree that Houdini should be in this. I felt in love with the song when it came out. It reminded me a lot of Hung Up by Madonna, which is one of my favourite songs of all time. Very sad to not see it in Just Dance 2025. Super happy for Dina though. She totally deserved to be a coach. And Training Season is also such a good song.

I L-O-V-E LOVE when they bring back old coaches. I took a big break from Just Dance from 2016 - 2022 so it allows me to experience these old coaches. It also makes the lore of Just Dance feel more interconnected like it's telling a much bigger story rather than a bunch of mini ones. Plus it adds extra layers of development to them as apposed to adding a new character that's never seen again. Like, do you know who Hadley is? Liv? Alzena? Kwang? Kapyy? I wouldn't expect you to know which maps these characters are from because they've appeared once, and never again. But do you know The Bride? Wanderlust? Agent D? Mothigan? Ari? Ask any big fan of Just Dance and they could name at least one map these characters are from. Also the story of the Panda, Reindeer and Badger has likely concluded with Shine a Little Love since now each has their own dedicated map; Panda has Mr. Blue Sky, Reindeer has Wouldn't It Be Nice, and Badger has Shine A Little Love. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if they have a final reunion in the future with all three playable at once. I prefer when Extremes are a single person. Duets, trios and quartets are meant to be played with multiple people, and it's very uncommon for everyone playing to be that level. Not to mention in most multi-player maps, a decent amount of the moves look really weird when played alone.

Story mode name: The Battle of the Swan Song #1: RUNNING by NF Coach: Jack Rose Plot: Jack realizing he needs to fight back against Night Swan. He makes it to her ship with the help of the Traveler. Song #2: Come With Me Now by Kongos Coaches: Jack Rose and Night Swan Plot: A battle between Jack and Night Swan. Jack loses this battle, and Night Swan puts him in a cell. Song #3: Hallucinate by Dua Lipa Coach: Night Brezziana Plot: The purification of Brezziana. Also serves as a Dua tribute map. Song #4: Love Me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding Coaches: Night Mihaly and Master Panda Plot: The purification of Mihaly. They attempt to corrupt the Floworld, but Master Panda helps them find their way back. Song #5: End of Beginning by Djo Coach: Night Wanderlust Plot: The purification of Wanderlust. That's all I've got. Song #6: Deal With It by Ashnikko ft. Kelis Coach: Night Sara Plot: The almost purification of Night Sara. Sara tries to break free, but Night Swan holds her back. Wimoweh I never could get over the lion… the rest is mid other than the background which is cute, but the lion is scaring the hell outta me. 51. Basket Case (alt) U-N-N-E-C-E-S-S-A-R-Y. 50. Mi Gente Lo Siente . . . ANOTHER TROLL SONG. At least the song is pretty catchy. 49. Whenever, Wherever (alt) UNNECESSARY as well, but the choreo is ok. 48. Move Your Body I can’t believe I’ll have to check my zoomzoomzoom twice. But the choreo is not bad. 47. Sleigh Ride Does anybody care as much for this one? It’s cute, but I feel that’s it. 46. SpongeBob’s Birthday It’s not a cover 😂😂😂 and I like the hand-drawn animated map, but nothing else. 45. Control Response The most out-of-nowhere song of this year, and I don’t care for it as well. And it’s a shame because the song is FIRE. 38. Unstoppable (alt) The definition of a warm-up map. Simple but strong choreo, and the background isn’t distracting. 37. Paint The Town Red I’m not fan of anything on this map, but the map is waay too well fitted to be true. 4⭐️ 36. Something I Can Feel It’s good, I really like the choreo and the background, nothing else to add. 35. *hot take!!!* Espresso The most underwhelming addition to the game. The choreo is BOOORING, but the rest is fine. 34. break up with your girlfriend Not bad per se, but I just don’t care for it! 33. Halloween’s Here A bit too childish, but it’s actually fun and cute! 5🌟 32. we can’t be friends It’s really cute as well! But couldn’t have the choreo(s) been better for this last week?. 31. My Heart Will Go On By far the funniest map of the game, the choreo is effective and the rest is soo sarcastic even the LYRICS made me laugh. 30. Dubidubidu The best troll map ever, the choreo is great, those three consecutive gold got me for GOOD. 29. *hot take!!* yes, and? I knew it wasn’t really safe from being unremarkable. Everything is great, but the choreo could’ve been a lot better. 28. *hot take!!* Pink Venom I guess I can take the simplified quartet, but I still prefer the quartet being the Extreme. They could’ve avoided repeating the first verse at the second verse however...Again though, I’ll let it through this time. 27. Sunlight Despite the weak choreo, I really like everything else the map has. 26. Espresso (alt) I really like the choreo, and the coaches and background are pretty, but I prefer so much anything better than this… 25. *REALLY HOT TAKE!!* Play Date oh god what am I doing- this one is *SOOOOO OVERRATED!!* The worst part is that everything is great- even the choreo! But compared in quality to other songs, this one is far below at least for me. 24. Unstoppable Amazing background, but the choreo is pretty repetitive for how good it looked at the preview… SUPERSTAR🩵🌟 23. *hot take…* Training Season Sorry Dina… but this one didn’t serve a lot! I ADORE how she looks, but the choreo is mid mostly, and the background is a tad bland. 22. Poker Face (alt) The best seated map to this date, I love everything it has to offer- maybe the choreo is slightly repetitive, but it’s fine. 21. Party In The USA This is an AMAZING pick, and I agree with some that this is the perfect example of a beginner’s map. Simple choreo, nice background, nice song, and a warm return of the Juice alt coach. *MEGASTAR* 🌟💗 20. Pink Venom (Extreme) The big problem with this one is that the official choreo is MADE for a GROUP of people, not ONE dancer, and it suffers from it. But other than that, she slays! 19. Vogue (alt) The coach looks weiird, but she also slays, I love the background as well! 18. This WAS going to be great, the choreo is SOO GOOD, and the background is EVEN BETTER!! The face of Epsilon is what brings this one down though, he looks cute but traumatising as well. 16. Vogue What a pleasant surprise!! It went from mid to really fun in the full map, the song is a bop, April looks great in that outfit. 15. Lovin On Me It’s a HUGE improvement over the alt, the choreo and coach are AMAZING. This is hip hop at it’s best. Hey, where’s the other exam- 14. Yeah! Ah, here it is, the OTHER example of hip hop at it’s best. I like more the background and that’s why it’s higher. 13. One Last Time It has so much going on, but it’s really cute! Works great for a tribute map, it’s easily the second best Ariana Grande map behind the one that’s gonna appear… 12. Padam Padam ... not here! But ok, everything is GREAT, the choreo, the background, the coach… my only gripe is that it’s a bit too short. 11. Paint The Town Red (Extreme) I am a SUCKER for that choreo, it’s FIREEEE! Fair play Ubisoft, you gave me a song that I don’t like, and made an Extreme making a million times better. 10. In Your Eyes LORE! LORE! LORE! Other than that, everything is good, not something I’ll go crazy over, but good. 9. exes Hot damn! She absolutely SLAYED here! I love the background, but I do think the choreo is a bit too slow at some points. 8. Basket Case EVERYTHING is great, the multiple difficulties idea was executed greatly, the choreo is fun and the map is really cute! 7. Whenever, Wherever One of the better Shakira songs in the franchise, the choreo is so fitting, the coach looks so pretty and the background has some great references to the official video. 6. LUNCH One of the better Billie Eilish songs, very fitting choreo, love the map and the coach is very Billie-ish. 5. One Last Time (Extreme) And it appears here! This one absolutely ATE!! Everything is from pretty to cute to awesome, I love it. 4. Payphone It’s a Maroon 5 banger, what else do you expect?! Everything from here is SO ICONIC, but what’s up with the fact that both Telephone and Payphone end in phone? Maybe for 2027 Edition, we’ll get something with -phone in it’s name. 🥉 You Love Who You Love I got obsessed inmediately with the song, (it’s amazing just like the map) the choreo is fun despite being slightly let down because I expected a bit more. And it’s LORE! which carries it to Bronze medal. 🥈 Poker Face We‘ve been waiting for this one, am I right? But OMG, was the wait SO WORTH IT! I LOVE the coaches’s outfits and the choreo for the side ones, I would‘ve preferred to see this before Telephone, but this one is still fantastic. And yet... there is still a map above it. And it isn’t too much of a popular pick! 🥇goes to... *Party In The USA (alt)* I mean... everything is just so right. And I’mma drop a hot take: the reused coaches are clear of the iconic duo from Timber. The choreo is fun, the background is pretty and not distracting, the interaction between them is amazing... and for such a bop, this is well deserved. Not by much, but this is my favorite map of the year... Too bad I’d have to pay 60 goddamn dollars just for 40 songs and 12 alts.
