Another tip that you guys may not know is when playing DMZ you can check your map and if there are no more hunt squad contracts on the map then you’re the only player/team left to exfil

Don't sleep on the sentry gun, I know in most cod games they aren't the most useful. But they've helped me exfil multiple times when Im running solo in DMZ. While I wait for the exfil heli to land ill set the sentry gun down & it will lay down supressive fire if any teams pull up. One game I had a 4 man team pull up in an armored truck. It knocked 2 of the 4 while I was posted up on the opposite side of the street, shooting at the other guys. I downed 1 and so the last guy started running off but I sent an invite, got them all up, and I exfiled with them. They told me they were so confused as to who was shooting at them, they thought I had a team but I was by myself the whole time. Only problem is I'm not sure if the sentry turret will flush players but it will knock them, so they're worth picking up...🤷

SG is absolutely useless, I’m level 250 and I’ve tried it more times than I can count since launch and I’ve not found a single situation where it’s useful. At extract the AI take it out without a single kill most of the time, it takes so long to activate once placed that it’s useless in combat situations, regardless of where you place it there’s a huge marker on the map telling everyone where it is and it also only kills players/AI that are on the same level as it so it’s also useless on uneven ground. The fact that they’re powered by the smallest battery known to man also makes them useless. I wouldn’t even waste an inventory spot by picking one up.

Train is way to go just statistically. If you drop naked there is literally nothing to lose, so its like you loot all the stuff or die in process or shortly after, lose like 5 minutes total and try again. Problems are starting if you spawn too far of have guys nearby with very same plan. But actually this could come in handy, don’t forget that you could team up - I’d prefer safely loot half/third of the train and squad up and continue looting with couple of guys as my backup then loot shit ton of loot and get killed second after.

When dying in DMZ, beg for help - worse case scenario is that nobody helps you and you die, best case is someone revives you and you live as part of their squad. I was about to exfil when someone appeared next to me, I killed them, then begged for help so I revived them and dropped them a spare self res. We both extracted happy.

good advice, one thing I would add is rather than keeping all that inventory you can dump the more valuable items into a deaddrop that way you free up inventory space and if you get killed at b4 extract whatever you deaddropped will still count to you insured weapon time.

I think the best way to get at least decent gears when you just died and go in solo is to do a simple secure supplies contract. It will guarantee always give you a 2 plate vest, a medium backpack and a self revive.

Good tips, though I add to take the spotter scope. Especially using the thermal, it’s excellent at giving a good read of your surroundings, without the scope glint. Which is great for keeping out the way of aggressive teams

Finding the gear is an issue. You can spend all day gathering the gear to solo a stronghold mission and have the cheating assed game drop five level twos in front of you out of thin air and you lose everything. I always carry a couple self revive/pistols and rarely get to use them when players and armored bots kill you anyway

Another tip of mine, if you can find the AI with the M4 with green lasers, they are fantastic. When I have a medium bag I'm always looking to exfil with 2 of those for my.stash when my insured is out.

Those are the blue super soldiers tons of armor great aim and they don’t come by themselves a solo is dying to them most of the time. That’s why I just use key locations I already have like 25 horsing keys and using them are the best

@Messup7654 depends on where they are at. If you check the police station they usually spawn 5-6 of them inside a barricade in the back parking lot. As a solo you can snipe them from either the PC building or the roof of the academy without too much hassle. They also spawn near destroy supply missions without being too tanky. Life is rough for a solo in DMZ right now. Be careful

Avoid the train unless you can get on instantly. If you ain't lucky enough vs players it isn't always lootable due to a moving glitch and if you looted it's a big chance a 2-3 man comes and kill you. I always do destroy missions for safes, often you can even find the safes without launching the missions when you learn their spawns

Train is usually packed by atleast 1 team, i managed to down 2 of them but the last one got into the other 2's truck and managed to run me down, train was too far, but if i spawn there again i will try again that said, solo play is good but what ive seen is that if a teammate does an activity that is one of your missions it will count as completed which is really good

If you find yourself near one depoing money and valuables in any dumpster dead drop will count towards insurance whether you die or not. And afaik it takes twice as much time off your insurance as extracting with it.

If you drop all your cash and other valuables at a dead drop it reduces insurance weapon time and frees up space in your backpack! Much better than trying to extract before you need to!

Also be aware that if your ex filling check to make sure there aren’t any more players about before you jump on the helo as you can get jumped skilled and all your worked for cash etc will be ripped and all that work lost,,,there are some players that go about just hijacking other players either for the kill count of the stash ,so try to hang off getting on the helo until the last few seconds before it takes off

Good info. I've also seen 3 plate's and large backpacks spawn in those hospital buildings too. Also if you spawn near Sawah Village you can climb/parachute onto the roof of the hotel and get into the two locked rooms via the roof

9:18 MAYBE it's a playsyle thing but USUALLY solo players should prioritize self revives over ridiculous amounts of plates you shouldn't have more than 6 IN the bag or 9 in total plus the ones in the vest and you shouldn't neglect selfs unless you have ATLEAST 2 in the bag or 3 in total.

Something i found out by accident is you can repair the car tires if popped, also the new flyable heavy chopper you can fly into the redzone edges on xfill with it, although it dose require the special heavy chopper fuel you can refuel it like any other car at a petrol station

When the chopper comes in after you've popped the safe.. The easiest way i've found to eliminate them all is to chuck a frag right at the bottom in the middle of them all - just - as they drop down.. 6 kill..

Another thing: that plea for help prompt lasts for only a certain amount of time and teammates must be alive. SO going for a PFH is 99 percent chance YOU WILL see a squad. They'll usually be the squad that killed the guy or the squad of the guy trying to revive him but they came late so he did the PFH thing so unless you DO want to face real players DO NOT respond for a PFH. and if you do be on guard
