‘Just embarrassing’: CBS reporter schooled on illegal immigration

UnHerd Washington DC correspondent Emily Jashinsky has reacted to US Vice President JD Vance “embarrassing” CBS News reporter Margaret Brennan over the weekend.
During the interview, which aired Sunday morning, Mr Vance clashed with Ms Brennan over illegal immigration.
“Margaret Brennan got embarrassed by Vice President Vance,” Ms Jashinsky told Sky News host Gabriella Power.
“It’s one thing for a journalist to correct a politician, that seems perfectly in bounds to me. But if you’re going to do it and you get it wrong several times throughout the interview, it’s just embarrassing and that’s what we saw.”
