You know what, I've seen these videos for years and love them every time. It takes talent to put those puppets together, to come up with the choreography (and not trip over it!), and to get out there and perform. Thanks for entertaining us...this is a great act and I'm glad you still enjoy your job after so many years, Chuck! More power to you! :)

Excellent. I see how he's progressed from the in-line, one behind the other to the side-by-side life size puppets. And to add movement to the mouth is quite the accomplishment. Just fantastic!!

I am Japanese. I saw it on a Japanese TV program 30 years ago. It was this wonderful show that decorated the last of this program. At your show, I learned about Jackson 5 and liked “The Love You Save”. For my 6 year old, your show and Jackson 5's “The Love You Save” has become a lifetime treasure. Thank you for the best performance that won't fade now.

TOTALLY AMAZING! Christopher you are the BEST! Our local Fox TV News Station here in Michigan just recently showed your half-time performance at the UConn Florida State Game. I then had a flashback to your performance of my favorite Jackson 5 song shown in this video. I was delighted to be able to view it again! Do you ever tour around the country? I would LOVE to see more of you and your wonderful talent!

Good guess. Originally, I DID use solenoids, and made a glove that triggered them. But the glove started to electocute me. lol So I switched to control cables (same thing used to operate a bicycle brake). I can't tell you what I use now, 'cause there's thieves out there. lol

It seems that when the puppets are in this configuration rather than sideways, that you are able to perform more complex movements and the audience can more fully appreciate them.

Back then, the poles for the left knee and foot were painted black so that they were better "hidden". I guess it worked. ;-) Watch the video again, and pay close attention to the turn at 2 minutes 34 seconds.
