@mjum90149 ай бұрын
Are you referring to the band/group Chicago? If so, YES, they had one of the best horn selections in their group. Other bands with notable horn selections: Earth Wind & Fire, Blood, Sweat & Tears, The Commodores, Kool & the Gang, Tower of Power. The Ohio Players, Memphis Horns (this group) and of course The J.B.'s. The only really "popular" artist with horns playing today's music is Bruno Mars' Hooligans. Forgive me for not being able to think of any others but groups with horns stood out back in the 70's.

@@alanabrahams2232 I have to ask a really stupid question (as someone who has loved this song since 77, when I bought the album at Duke's records in Joliet-anyone remember Duke's on Collins St.?), why did they not do more things along this vein? I mean, the layering of sound in a very smooth, jazzy latenight sort of way? On a personal note, this song provokes such strong memories of being a 16 year old, in his first real bout with love, walking in the snow with her at night, having nowhere to go to be alone, but still reveling in each other as only true teenage infatuation allows. So I wish there had more of this sound and feel from MH. Just my two cents. All in all, great job!
