PINXIE !! so very different for you. a funk style on an acoustic... and even the nicest acoustic is still 2-3X stiffer than an electric, its just how it is, with much more finger strength required. I know, even a 3/4 size with a good action job, tuned down to C, an acoustic is still stiffer. long time no see, good to see you making a new video for everyone too! :)

Elixir 013-056, standard tuning, though scale length is 577.8mm, but still made my fingers was tired.

@@YOYOguitar yuppers... heavier strings on an acoustic for more resonance = more volume, even electric acoustic, they're just stiffer feeling. heavier strings needing more tension to tune same, action slightly higher to prevent fretting out... its all that! 40+ years playing, several years luthier work, many friends past were also luthiers. Jim got it bad for working ebony and inlay, the stuff IS very toxic (but abalone and MOP are so pretty!). think Chris is still manufacturing customs ( BenaventeGuitars.com ), he'd be in his early 50's nowadays, we were in college together back in 1995 machining/manufacturing. his guitars are very real, double action truss rods, his own custom pickups+electronics+wiring, LED's and fiber optics in the fret dots.... anything you want from mild to wild, he does it all :) edit: www.pinterest.com/toni1722/benavente-guitars is many images of some of Chris's older custom work, worth a look. edit again: kzbin.info/www/bejne/g4qynqFofNOCqs0
