Older tractors have a dry clutch. The plates get worn out and it can’t climb. When In reverse the clutch plates get pushed together and it gives it the power to climb. Check the transmission fluid first and see if it’s low. If not there are some tricks to help you can find on KZbin but you probably just have to replace the clutch assembly or adjust the differential

My hip suddenly started to pain, so am doing therapy and stop eating sugar also anything sugary. Also took extra B12. Am doing much better. Also a heat pack helps Hope you get well soon.

The only thing I can think of is showing up at the VA Emergency Room, complaining about the pain. But even that is no guarantee it would speed up the Therapy date. It may be that they are that short on therapists staffing. ❤❤

save anything the size of your wrist for firewood. when you split logs thats about the size you split down to. as your wood is green it wont burn as well as dry seasoned firewood. ideally its dried at least a year.

Well, I'm sure by this point in your life you know that everything is a learning process. Next year you will start getting ready for winter sooner than you were able to this year, and you'll have a much better idea of how much wood you will need and probably have figured out some ideas for staying a little warmer. As for the backhoe, well.....all I'm gonna say is that I'm a man too, and sometimes we do things and then............sh*t happens. It really is all part of it when you go down the homesteading road. I've watched I can't tell you how many folks go through this and that while getting their 'stead situated, learning their land, puttin' this piece and that piece together as they've been able to, and you know what? They get it all figured out eventually, and you will too. 🙂

A vitamin deficiency can cause you to have hip and joint pain. I think it is vitamin D but I am not sure. Go in KZbin and type in “ What vitamin or mineral deficiencies can cause hip pain” Or just type in “ What can you do to naturally heal hip pain “.
