Yeah great a $100,000 robot that takes 30 second to fold a t-shirt when a human take 3 seconds. I would starve before this thing could pick my food from the garden, then my friends would go home thinking i am not home after waiting 2 minutes to answer the door, when a humam takes under 10. Heck this load of bullshit could barely answer a mobile phone in the time it rings for. Impractically as useless as a Christmas tree, sure it looks mesmerizing and cute, but its just as useless. . And $30,000 for it is a complete fantasy, Elon is well known for lying about costs, on everything he does. Stop being impressed. It not what you think, and 90% of its AI is humans on computers answering for it, just like those AI supermarkets that were really just cheap Indian labor watching people on cameras. The world is a huge lie mate.

@@salmarnir92 Your correct, but right now i am unimpressed. What stopped the wow factor is the repetition of the scam from 1987. Where they would have these robots (ok, i will admit wheel based robots not the current cyborgs) that even for their time were impressive but then a quick look around the room and you would see a guy with a remote control and a headset with microphone. What seemed to be high tech was little more than oversize remote control car, still needing the continual input of a human or it simply wont move, walk? or talk. The numerous examples of these tesla bots that are not even real ia but some dumb kid on a headset bring back bad memories and just show the cycle of fraud repeating over and over. We had the Robinson's and their famous robot in the 60's then in the 90's similar bullshit to now. Sure they have come along way i agree, but you have to admit that fake AI voice scam allows it to be reasonable to question their true progress since the 90's. They could not even hook it up to grok or something. Kinda pathetic like when musk breaks the unbreakable car window yet all the fans just keep on believing. In reality that dog like cyborg is pathetic and it military capabilities are far from capable. Anyone one with a lasso and a steel cable could stop that like a animal at a rodeo . Imagine just sitting in a tree and dropping 3000 year old technology (a rope) and taking out that thing like it was a dumb child. So yeah i truly hear you that improvements are dramatically coming more and more often, but think about it 60 years ago some guy in a suit or some guy with a remote or some buy in a back office with a microphone is the only real truth,they promised it and every 10 years they promise it will be just a few years away, and look 60 YEARS of wasted hopes and dreams. That telsa cyborg may be able to stumble around like a drunk sailor but can do little else, when will people wake up that elon musk is a looser scammer. It could barely pick up and sort some plastic cups. And $20,000 MY ASS! Lies again. More like $200,000 once it actually is sellable, and look at all the best software in the world, hacked within 24 hours, once someone gets a real standalone it will be a terminator within 24 hours, ok maybe a few months but they will reprogram it just like they can jailbreak AI to do what it is restricted not to. Also Waymo beats his cars hands down. Thats if your Tesla does not fall apart before you can really use it. I could go on and on. So why do you believe in this guy?

I'd love to see it do the following 1. Make my morning coffee (e.g. Keurig) and bring it to me, 2. Load/unload the dishwasher, the clothes washer, the dryer, 3. Mow my lawn and water my plants and ultimately trim the hedges, 4. Wash my car (and don't scratch it). 5. Bring the groceries in from the car and put them away (in the fridge, in the pantry etc) and much more. 6. Play me in a game of chess and exchange clever banter and answer random questions. 7. Pull my medications for tomorrow and deliver them to me. The possibilities for changing things like Retirement home economics are huge among many others (maybe elderly people could stay in their homes longer).

@cluebin83982 ай бұрын
In the case of America, the jobs they would be replacing are off-shore Chinese labor. The factories could return to America and be staffed by white collar workers and then robots doing the jobs the Chinese are currently doing. There is the potential that first world countries benefit while the third world cheap labor countries are the ones who lose. I'm OK with that.

I want to clarify something about Elon Musk's Tesla Optimus. While it’s often referred to as a robot powered by AI, that claim is misleading. Essentially, it’s not truly autonomous; there’s a human controlling it. A real robot operates independently without human intervention, but the Tesla Optimus is being directed by a person remotely, which disqualifies it from being categorized as a true robot. When you hear a voice coming from the Tesla Optimus, that's actually a human speaking into a microphone-it's not AI-generated. Similarly, its movements and actions are also controlled by that person. So, to set the record straight: it's not a robot in the pure sense since it relies on human control. It’s better described as a machine being manually operated rather than an autonomous robotic system.

In America the factory jobs already all went overseas. Perhaps the robots could at least bring the factories back on shore and employ all the white collar jobs that go along with factories, as opposed to no factory at all. China is the real loser, because cheap labor is the only advantage they have.
