No, it wasn’t. They did their job and kept him from firing. They now will have no choice but to close that public road when Trump is there, no choice. The security perimeter will have to be expanded, which means they also probably have to add 50-100 SS personnel to his detail and maybe limit people going there at all, including campaign events even. The only way he would be better protected is it will have to be a full lockdown area 24/7 when he is there.

Why? Trump is not part of the government, Biden is the president. His security comes first and foremost, always. Candidate Trump should maybe hire his own private security detail, if taxpayer funded security isn't good enough for him. Isn't he supposed to be rich? He is not the current President. I do think he needs more security, but he is a billionaire and can afford some private security on top of SS. The campaign can also pay for some security prior to the election and then if he wins, the government picks up the tab and gives him equal protection as the current POTUS. That also means every candidate for both parties permanently should get equal protection as the current POTUS, no exceptions, for Harris and Trump.

2nd amendment: . . . a well regulated militia. . . . This was written when our country was new and had no military or police for protection. Only the citizens and their personal firearms, used for protection and procuring food. A fairly simple single shot weapon. My great grandfathers owned similar items. We now have a "well regulated militia" and no need for the citizens to grab their sophisticated, multi shot weapon of war and gather in the street to ward off the "enemy." Rediculous. And no one is going to knock on your door and take this weapon away from you, even though you have proved time and time again that you really are careless and ignorant in its use. You forget that these weapons are designed to kill people. You don't hunt with them unless you like shredded meat. So, I fail to see the value of your argument. Any criminal who wants a gun will, naturally, get one. But he's interested in money - not killing grocery store patrons, school children, church worshippers. Banks, armored cars, tractor trailers with high dollar items. Those are the things he wants.

As far as officer Delgado goes, I think he got scared that you were going to pyshically confront these individuals while they were having a private conversation. Because the reality is law enforcement does have an obligation to investigate any time. There's a call for service and obviously they did. They don't know all the particulars. They don't know all the details. I think it's generally proper police procedure to take the 2 opposing sides aside and ask all the pertinent questions in order to see if there has been a crime committed. So I think the officer was just simply doing his duty. He did not realize that the door was closed because they had closed for the day. You actually lost your composure after the white beard city employee disrepected you by yelling at you in a very aggressive, disrespectful manner. After that, you vented on everyone. I get it. You're only human. I do believe that you prefer to act in a rational, reasonable, respectful manner. That is your approach. I would hope?
