what do you think would be better to get or would be more fun to play (if they made that kinda guitar and both were the same price), a microtonal fm guitar or a microtonal keyboard?

I'm not even sure how a microtonal fm guitar would work. If it's basically an fm synth with a fretboard then it would depend on what layout it uses. I think a guitar would be more fun for me (probably obvious), but a keyboard would be more practical for most people. Keyboards have always gotten better support in the MIDI realm so they just have that edge in utility.

@@Sononymous a digital fretboard, no strings? that might be cool then you could have a cello button. i was talking about the guitars if you search on youtube fm guitars.

@@signalshiz Ah, I've seen those before. I've never been super into the Stanley Jordan style of playing myself so I probably wouldn't go for that personally. You could do some cool things if one was fretless and the other was some 17 or above equal division, though.

Jason Rodgers over at Jayemar Guitars. Not sure why my reply didn't post the first time, sorry about that.

@@Sononymous Thanks for the response, looks like a lovely instrument. Impossibly expensive to me especially considering customs and VAT here in the old continent, I wonder if anyone makes instruments like that within the EU.

@@nuodso There has to be someone, but I wouldn't be the person to ask. Good luck on your search
